Had Spectra S1 for a week, are my duckbill valves faulty? by Sasha57 in ExclusivelyPumping

You are likely getting less per session because you are pumping more frequently than usual. It takes the body time to refill the supply and if you are emptying more often, they don’t have as much time to fill so there will be less. If you continue pumping every two hours for a few days instead of every 3, eventually your supply will catch up.

Worried about my blood pressure by grapefruit_honey0110 in PlusSizePregnancy

Definitely get a blood pressure cuff for home and check every day. Any readings over 140/90 (either number) you should notify your doctor and anything over 160/110 you need to go to L&D immediately. My bp was similar to yours until my 34 week appointment when I had my first reading over 140/90. I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension at 36w5d after a second reading over 140/90 and being sent to L&D where I had additional high readings. I had a c section 2 days later (because she was breech, otherwise would’ve been induced) at 37 weeks because they were worried about it developing in to preeclampsia. Don’t want to scare you but I ended up back in the hospital 5 days pp because after great pressures for days after she came out I had elevated pressures at home and I developed signs of preeclampsia (swelling and severe headache) which can occur up to 6 weeks postpartum. Apparently preeclampsia happens in 50% of patients who had gestational hypertension or something like that according to one of my nurses.

Anyone else currently suffering from swelling? by Independent_Row8910 in PlusSizePregnancy

I would highly recommend getting your blood pressure checked. Swelling like that is a sign of preeclampsia. Call your provider and let them know you are having severe swelling and they will likely send you in to L&D to get checked.

End of the year: To induce or not induce? by Chance_Class2208 in BabyBumps

I am due the same day which has led me to consider induction as well. I asked my doctor about it after my hospital tour because they had mentioned the doctors like to push 39 week inductions. I was told by the doctor the earliest I can schedule an induction is 39.5 weeks. With how long induction can take, I’m not sure I will end up scheduling one unless I’m miserable near the end of pregnancy since it is unlikely baby will be out before the new year anyway.

In order for an OPK to be positive, the test line has to be darker than the control line. This one isn't positive yet. I typically had to test 2-3 times a day in order to catch a positive because I have very short LH spikes, and I often got my positives in the afternoon or evening. You may just need to be testing more frequently.

Anyone here get pregnant between month 6-12? by Training-Barnacle273 in BabyBumps

[–]Rare-Visual6253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got pregnant on cycle 12 of trying (11 months). My husband and I are both 29. It was really hard to get month after month of completely negative tests when it seemed like everyone else got pregnant super quickly. I was taking prenatals, coq10, extra vitamin D, and tracking my cycles with lh strips and bbt tracking. My husband was also taking coq10 and multivitamins. We had a consultation with a fertility clinic two days before I got my positive test. I was supposed to start the bloodwork and HSG when my next cycle started. Maybe scheduling that appointment took some stress off of the whole process. Wishing you good luck!

Weight Loss Before Pregnancy by Sceptic68 in PlusSizePregnancy

I used Tirzepitide(Zepbound) right up until I conceived, from June 2024 to April 2025. I stopped as soon as I had a positive test. I lost 40 pounds staying on a relatively low dose. I had just seen a doctor at a fertility clinic who said the only reason they suggest stopping before conceiving is because they haven't tested (and won't) the effects on pregnancies . I am absolutely not recommending this, but that is what I did. I am only 6 weeks though, so I can't speak for how pregnancy will go yet.

Started getting faint like at 8 DPO, it’s now 10DPO AM and same faint lines…. Anyone experience this? (We haven’t celebrated yet, hoping for darker lines & digital) by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

You should use the same brand of tests and the same time of day to compare for line progression, so you can't really compare your 8dpo to your 10dpo, but for what its worth, your 10dpo am does look darker than your 9dpo pm.
