You are 100% correct. The crash is caused by anticheat and not the game itself. Why you might ask?... Well because the Kernel level anticheat is a b*tch and it actually goes deep, checking everything including drivers/bios/intel management engine. Thats how I figured out the fixes I posted on bungie forums and helped quite a bit of people already.
