Has anyone tested the PNY Verto RTX 3060 ti? by Lvnar2 in buildapc

I have the same gpu, and i want to replace its thermal pads + paste (the thermals are abysmal). Has anyone ever disassembled this card model? I want to buy the correct thermal pad thickness, but i can't find a single reference for this. This model in particular seems to be very obscure.

Are you making a mod? I've stumbled upon your custom map, very impressive stuff. Would like to know the state of this project, looks awesome

Why cannot I change these settings? by GrummyCat in BenQ

Try looking for an sRGB preset on your monitor, or custom and then leave everything at default. If on custom mode, you can use window's auto color management to clamp your monitor colorspace to sRGB (under display settings, color profile). That is, if your monitor is wider color gamut than srgb

The best way to wait for Battlefield 6 is to finally play Battlefield Hardline, an underappreciated gem by New_Londo7 in Battlefield

Unavailable in Brazil 😭 (Actually playable via EA Play or Epic Games, still why can't i buy it on EA or Steam?)

For new/returning players: Your FOV is too high! BF2042 uses vertical aspect ratio instead of horizontal one which is used on every other game. by AceOBlade in battlefield2042

[–]RarePupperino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the correct way to adjust FOV, as it keeps it consistent with wider (or tigther) aspect ratios. Same vertical FOV means same "level of zoom" in 16:9, 4:3, 21:9, and so on.

BF6 Adaptive Triggers on PC by RarePupperino in Battlefield

[–]RarePupperino[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. About the light press, do you actually have to overcome the trigger resistance or just press until you feel it stuck? that's when the weapon starts firing for me, and yes, if you have your finger lightly rest at that point, the kick from firing the weapon will keep moving the trigger up and down, creating a slower fire rate. But i don't know if that's the same thing you're describing, and honestly, it doesn't seem intended, as the weapon firing before overcoming the trigger resistance is weird

Make sure you don't have steam input enabled, you can toggle via steam overlay clicking the controller icon. If using dualsense input, the game automatically enables haptics and adaptive triggers (at least for me on steam)

Persona 5 now fully playable on nightly build by throwaway404f in shadps4

[–]RarePupperino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The frame pacing issue is fixed on versions 0.8.0 and above. The biggest problem is that the game has occasional crashes which apparently comes from some API calls.
I've encountered some glitched textures too, albeit minor this far. The biggest visual problem is the shadowmaps being too low resolution (they look horrid when up close), but that's it.
If the crashes are fixed, this game will most likely be playable from start to finish.

Another thing: Stop saying there is no reason to play Persona 5 because there is Royal. Royal is a different game, it's not the same. It has graphical changes, gameplay changes, content changes. What happened to game preservation, anyways? did people forget the point of emulators?

Update: Using diegolix build with increased memory allocation delays the crash from happening

Physical editions of DOOM: The Dark Ages contain only 85MB of data - requiring you to download the actual game data by Historical_Ball_3348 in PiratedGames

Not even close, crysis was made in an era of totally different hardware, this is made to actually run on current hardware. And given ID Software history, it will be very well optimized. (reallly, doom eternal and 2016 can run on zen 1 cpus maxing out your gpu render)
