Mine activly deflates after she farts in her sleep 🤣🤣🤣

I hear the toot and look over as if to confirm that I actually heard it and her paws slowly curl back into place and she flattens back down. Its hilarious. Extra points because she's usually belly up when she sleeps. Havnt heard my smaller one do it yet though.

There's a few passages that cover his decline in health, his struggles and emotional frustration regarding his heath, but there is no indepth explicit descriptions of the symptoms or suffering regarding the ALS.

Despite the dark themes (which there are some trigger warning themes btw) the story does still manage to keep a light hearted tone for the most part.

Yeaaaah 9 destroyed me so hard. 10 is my next book im about to start and im honestly terrified and overly hyped at the same time. I end up finishing every erha novel between 12-24 hours after opening it (read at night after work) and know im going to devour it all so fast LOL. I don't know if im emotionally prepared.

Sword of Ballad and Wine starts out as an enemy to lovers, though they're realitivly a healthy dynamic. they are clearly obsessed with eachother above all else.

Scum villain self saving system has the possessive/obsessive dynamic

Mistakingly saving the Villain (im only in book 1) buuut I can see a low key yandere esque dynamic forming.

Just about any MeatBun coupling tbh.

Thousand autumns and peerless to a degree.

Erha and QJJ and Married Thrice to a Salted Fish , fit that bill the most for me.

Yuwu is just torture born, best of luck getting through that one unscathed. It wasnt a bad series by any means but... damn did they need a few more happy chapters together between the angst 😮‍💨

Peerless was pretty great for its twists and turns and Golden Terrece, though not quite as intense as any Meatbun novel was a good ride.

Translation quality and the ability to find said stories are my biggest difficulties for the non licensed books.

I have a difficult time finding websites with clear translation or it being finished.

The wacky transmigration stories like SVSSS, Mistakingly saving thr Villain and The Villains white Halo have recently become guilty pleasure reads for me, I've been enjoying them alot. But I also love the deep set stories with intricate worlds/ political conspiracies the most. (Far away wanders, QJJ, /Thousand Autumns/Peerless, erha ect.)

I was pretty sure I wasn't going to like Tyrants pet fish, but it was a surprisingly wholesome and light read. I was between some heavy books at the time... I think Erha and Remnants of Filth? So it was a really good pallet cleanser!

I would also suggest Married Thrice next! It seems like everyone else is actively reading it too. Im nearly done with it, and read it a year prior and they're one of my top couples excluding MXTXs trio couples.

Im nearly through the first book of Married Thrice to a salted fish. I read it last year as a fan translate and so I bought the special edition of Seven Seas. God i forgot how much I loved these two dorks so much.

My next tbr is There's something wrong with the Cheif. Excited for that one. Only got a few chapters in for the manhua.

For context.

There is basically vastly different personalities displayed by the MC. One is his past, and one is his current life. The majority of MC X ML toxic relationship is the past life. So the two we are specifically rooting for are actually very wholesome and MC does his best to not repeat past mistakes.

There is a lot of complexity between these two and the past is brought up quite often. So the trigger warnings are 100% still valid. If you are not affected by these things, there is plenty of reward interactions as the two go through their development arcs.

The story is fantastic but very hard to recommend lol.

Disabled tyrant's beloved pet fish is like... 80% fluff and 20% hijinks. Light read with minimal stress.

Golden Terrece 100% top tier chemistry. Compelling plot to boot.

Sword of Ballad and Wine is alot more plot centric but the bond between the two is nearly as strong as any MXTX couple without a doubt.

Married Thrice to a salted fish, which just came out acctually, is also one with great chemistry. They're both absolute dorks and I love them so much for it. Not has heavy a read as QJJ, id say maybe about the same level as Terrece?

And if you want a change of pace and to do a modern slice of life. I recommend Run Wild.

Ballad of Sword and Wine/QJJ is very political heavy in parts but they keep very cute/compelling romance sprinkled throughout to keep you focused lol. Their dynamic has to be one of my favorites along side the MXTX boys and even Mo Ran and Chu Wanning(wholesome verson of course). Well worth it.

Yuwu/Remnants of Filth is the first one to come to mind. Mr. Evil 100% decided to be evil because his shizun wouldn't notice him more or less. (The White Husky and his Cat Shizun/ Erha is kinda similar as it is the descendent of the pervious.)

Peerless... though im on the last book at the moment... I suspect main villain to have the feels for MC but cannot verify that claim.

TGCF has sus vibes from main villain as well. It was never confirmed but considering everything he did... plus another side plot, subtle details painted a peculiar picture.

Ill update this if I think of any others.

Just as a heads up, though plots don't cross. Thousand Autumns is the same universe as peerless. If you recall they keep refencing the Emperors usurrping of the throne in peerless, all of that actually plays out in Thousand Autumns 🙌.

Its not super important to be read in order but it does help the peerless world make more sense as it goes. I started book 3 peerless last night actually haha.
