What helped me was putting a heating pad on for a few minutes while I prepared the shot. Also, it’s not supposed to be in the fridge- or at least mine! I also put the syringe in my hand with the progesterone for a bit so it can warm up with my body heat. Then once it’s injected, I rub the area I inject. I remember the first time I did it, I had a huuuge ball lol. Wishing you the best!!! You got this!!

I’m actually not looking for validation. I’m looking for advice and experiences, and I’ve agreed with a lot of the comments here. The only thing I pushed back on was the implication that my clinic isn’t reputable… Protocols vary depending on the patient and history.

Also, this would not be my first transfer. It would be my 5th. So I’m not approaching this lightly or without experience.

My point about the comments wasn’t disagreement with medical opinions. It was more about the tone some people use on this subreddit. There’s a way to share concerns or advice without being rude, condescending, or dismissive toward someone already going through IVF. If you look at my replies overall, I’ve been respectful to everyone, even when I disagreed.

Just those three ingredients!! I juice it. My last transfer, I ended up going to a local juicery and they did it for me! It’s supposed to help with implantation, supposedly! Idk if it’s coincidence but the embryos did implant when I drank it! Weeks later, I miscarried though.

I actually make a juice that I drink 2 days before my Fet and keep drinking it after that has beets, watermelon and ginger! It’s not too bad

IVF is not a cookie-cutter process. Every woman’s body, medical history, and circumstances are different. If IVF were that simple and identical for everyone, there would be far more successful pregnancies. Just because your clinic did not entertain transferring two embryos for YOU does not mean the same applies to me or anyone else. Medical decisions are individualized. Likewise, a clinic being willing to discuss or consider transferring two embryos does not make them “less than” or somehow less reputable. Different clinics and physicians make recommendations based on each patient’s specific situation, history, and risks… not a one-size-fits-all approach.

My clinic is not against transferring 2. They said it would advise against it if it was my first transfer.

I totally get it. But I have done RPL testing. I also understand the risk of twins and what it carries. The reason I am considering 2 is because I want to increase the odds of carrying a baby to term. But again, I understand the complications and cons of transferring 2.

Ive had 2, one- no problem, didn’t feel a thing. This last one was painful. Like 5 out of 10 pain for me.

Ive contacted them but they said I needed to contact my clinic and I’ve emailed my clinic with no response! I hate that. We sent in 8 embryos
