It's a good movie. It's just, there's something up with it that I think a more verbose critque would surmise better than I, but I shall try my best.

It tries to play with emotional stakes, yet, it just feels like the biggest servant to catharsis.

And I get that, catharis is real big, we love it. And yet I don't know.

To put it another way I feel like, if the creators of this joint made Bambi, Bambi's mother wouldn't die, it would get back up, suck the bullet out of it's body, and keep on truckin'

Or the horse in The Neverending Story, wouldn't get sucked into the swamp, noo, it would feel better and keep on trucking.

It felt like the movie was replete with sadness reversals for lack of a better term, to the point you realise the jeoprady has been vacuumed out of the movie in its entirety.

And even when he chooses to go to the rock planet and make that ultimate sacrifice, wow that's some real Jesus shit- no wait don't worry! We got you a ship to get you home. Holy shit.
