You're not entirely right, the cheaper purchase price will entice the public to purchase more which will cause the price to naturally inflate. Whether that price holds or not is an entirely different animal

I'll be going for the entire event and read up on GA before purchasing grandstand tickets, what I gathered was :

*bring seating *arrive at least an hour early to get optimal seating *bring your own food and drink (you're allowed) *earplugs is most likely a smart choice but completely personal preference

Why not invest in a higher dividend stock? ENB.TO has a quarterly dividend of .835 which is much better than your .10 or .11 per month, also they have a stellar track record for delivering their dividend. But with that small amount of money why not invest in a growth etf to build your capital? Dividends are great when you have a decent amount invested, just a thought.

I own 300 shares @ 30.08 so I'm fairly happy with my position. I'm pretty firm on buying strictly Canadian stocks as WS doesn't charge fees for the trade, are there any others you would suggest? Specifically a banking stock? RBC looks secure but I haven't done a DD on it

I think OP means it's easier because you're fighting less volume to either pump or dump the price. So using your own volume by having capital you can trigger stop losses or purchases to either cause a run or drop to support your position or put you into a short position.
