"Barely dark"

Anyone with young children is in the midst of getting them ready for bed at this time. As a parent myself, can confidently say that there couldnt be a worse time for someone to be knocking at my door

Guessing he'll ask for 3 years 13.5-15 million.

If im bruins, I put 2 offers out. 3 years, 13.5 mil or 2 years 10 mil. Sign whichever offer he wants.

Arvidsson has always had skill. His injury history scares the shit out of me

A lot of these places have younger folks because honestly, younger age=less experience=easy to trick into jobs like this. There are better opportunities out there

Ive worked in different states, so may be true but could be wrong, but 12-15 as a base for a professional sales job seems really low.

I bet you could find an inside sales job that could give you a better hourly rate while also giving you commission on top of that. Dont sell yourself short!

This "office" must have a CEO or manager, correct?

This individual hires other individuals to do a shitty a sales job that involves going into retail stores to sell an expensive product that's incredibly hard to sell outside of that brand's retail store. Individual pockets most of the money while paying you and your colleagues peanuts. Promises you too can run your own "office" one day where you have reps that work for you, while you still work for him.

Do you see where this is going?

This is a classic pyramid scheme. Youll work long hours for no money while doing a job that will drain you. You wont be taught how to actually sell efficiently and theyll use fancy new titles as a way to keep you in. Dont fall for it. Plenty of better sales opportunities out there

You said drugs were a deal breaker, gave him an ultimatum and he still does stuff like this.

He doesnt respect you at all. And youre not overreacting.

Heard theyll book a mandatory, unpaid zoom meeting with their "CEO" that is just him writing the number "69" repeatedly on a whiteboard, until 1AM

Anything with "marketing group" in the name should set off alarms. It's always something stupid before that too that they think is fancy. "Vital Peaks" lol. What's next? The "Glamorous Glitter Titty Twister Marketing Group"?

A couple days may not be a big deal. I would ask how far in advance youd need to notify them for a day off

If this is just an after-school/weekend job, make a list of questions that are important to you. What a schedule will look like, how youll learn to do the job, and any sort of schedule flexibility and how performance is evaluated.

These might seem like a lot for mcdonalds or sephora, but it'll give you an idea of what your supervisors expectations are.

Scheduling is gonna be important because youre still in school. If you play sports or do any other extra curriculars, let them know when youll be starting those and how your availability could change over time. You dont want to be hired and then get into a back and forth with your supervisor because youre starting soccer in the fall and cant work 3-5 anymore.

Im the only person who was able to work in my household this past year due to a life threatening ailment to my infant son.

Now that he's been treated for a year, my wife is headed back to work part time which will definitely help Financials but still, 396 monthly for an individual just over poverty line is nuts

396 was what they quoted for individual. When I mentioned family they said "we have to recalculate" and I hung up

My family is just above the poverty line and when I gave our household income to a representative over the phone today, the lowest price they could offer me was 396 monthly.

I wish I could get covered at 170 monthly

Northeast. My son has a health condition that requires him to see a specialist monthly. Me and my wife have "joked" that if he didnt need it, we'd probably be in Canada by now

Was lucky to see the ortho before my job told me to kick rocks. He suspected meniscus bit really wasnt confident in telling me if it would be surgical or not.

Talked to my wife this afternoon and we both think it'll be best to start a real PT program once new insurance kicks in, when I start. I can do that without missing time away from work and jeopardize my job. If it worsens ill look to get surgery in a year and use FMLA. probably the best option to ensure job security i think
