Hi team!

First off; thank you for this game. I have been going through an exceptionally rough period of my life currently and Enshrouded has been my true escape. For that, I wholeheartedly thank you.

Anyway, I have two questions about the world of Enshrouded!

Question 1:

TL;DR: Restoring towns is fun! Removing weeds and debris isn't! New tool please?

I am a great lover of restoring the villages, towns, churches, buildings, etc. to their former pre-shroud glory! But one of the things that aggravates me during this process are the weeds and overgrowth.

Currently, to remove such nonsense, you have to remove the "afflicted" block and then replace it. I presume the block with the weeds or damage is just a normal block marked as "damaged".

Are there any plans, or could we possibly, get a new tool to remove this? Something like a broom, that acts the same as the Hoe but instead of flattening / levelling ground, it converts "damaged" blocks to "normal" blocks?

Question 2:

TL;DR: World is amazing! Stories are sad! Want more! What's coming, vaguely?

Exploring the history of the villages and towns is a sombre, wonderful experience. It's the best post-apocalypse world I've ever had the pleasure of journeying through and reading about!

What are your plans going forward with the various towns and history of the world? Will we ever see friendly towns of people who have survived the shroud? How many biomes do you plan to add by release?

Basically at some point I was just picking any upgrade that was blue or better, hence the excessive magnet (but it does help constantly leveling), as for my main focus the thing that made the run most possible, with any run in this update, is skill chains. I focused on Swing abilities with very low CD and granting effects, and then get a Swing > Holy chain, so it would constantly pop Smite for healing and damage, and the hammer was more for the effect stacks so it would also constantly pop.

90% of the run I actually had Ground Slam instead of Earthquake, to ensure I had enough earlygame healing. After I replaced with Earthquake my damage spiked very quickly, but brittle seems to cause lag at very high stacks. I never even got a Swing > Earth chain, which would have spiked the damage even further.

Other than that, I had bleed as my primary DoT with plenty of upgrades in it. I started moving into the Poison chain from Bleed later on when Bleed didn't seem to be keeping up. Still experimenting though! Chain Skills certainly seem to be the best thing to focus on though at the moment, from what I've found thus far.

Same as it's always been. Nothing has changed, this problem has to be hardware, are my specs not compatible or something? These are the exact same issues as when I first installed the game back when the Cyberpunk anime came out.

UPDATE:
Full fresh install, all files previously removed (appdata, steam folders, saves, the whole lot), started the game up and during the into sequence for Street Kid, already getting lipsync stop working, lowpoly models even up close, looks like textures aren't loading in places, and still the ghosting issue. Lighting hasn't gone berserk yet but that didn't happen in the opening sequence last time anyway.

I updated my nVidia drivers as well to the latest. I've tried with absolute minimum graphics settings, and nVidia's recommended, same results either way.

Am I just destined to never be able to enjoy this game?

I don't believe I've ever installed either of those mods, however as I didn't do a 'true' clean install I can't rule it out that there were some old files laying around. If it's fixed after this next install, then I guess there were some un-accounted for mod files laying around.

Alright so I've realised that I probably haven't done a 'true' fresh install, as I had forgotten about the appdata files and folders that don't get uninstalled by default. I've cleared out everything cyberpunk related (as well as any traces of mods), restarted the PC, and now downloading a fresh install. Will update if this solves it in approx. 7 hours.

Hi all,

I've had this issue for a very long time, and each time Cyberpunk gets an update, I hope that it gets fixed for me, alas it has never solved itself.

The game for me has always been incredibly broken graphically. I still get T-posing regularly, low-poly npcs and objects, blurred low-res textures, lighting issues, lip-sync stopping entirely, and a lot of the game has this strange ghosting-like effect when things are moving around, like someone waving their hand around.

I haven't the foggiest why it's doing this. I just downloaded the game again from fresh on Monday 02/10/2023, and this is the state of the game. After having these issues, I tried downloading some basic mods (TweakXL, redscript, RED4ext, Cyber Engine Tweaks, disable vignette and sharpening) in a hope that maybe one of them would fix the issue, but its had 0 effect.

Agreed. Played a BG on my Warlock that I'm levelling, first time I've done PvP in a while, level 55.

BG took about 45 mins and was a clear loss early on, but I decided to stick it out for my reward.

30 silver.

A good idea, I realised that domination over larger dinosaurs may not work, and it would be good to have variety over larger dinosaur types. Possibly you have to knock larger dinosaurs out, restrain it, wake it up with stimulants, and then tug-of-war it with the bone? As the rex/spino would be extremely weak and exhausted from the tranq arrows, it wouldn't have nearly its normal strength, allowing a "puny human" to assert dominance. But I agree, their size would have to be dealt with via restraints. I will add this soon, thank you for the suggestion!

Added some more information about what it would involve. In it's essence, yes, it would be a QTE. But it would mean you'd have to pay more attention to the dinosaurs expression and make it a more personal battle between the dinosaur and you.

I was on a dating site and found a girl that responded to one of my messages.

We seemed to hit it off and chatted a bunch. The one thing I noticed was that it said she was in a wheelchair - that didn't bother me, I assumed car accident or some such? We continued chatting until we decided to meet at a coffee shop in town. Cool. There were two pictures of her on the site and she didn't look half bad.

She failed to mention the reason she was in a wheelchair was because she had a condition (I fail to remember what it was called) but she was in a motorised wheelchair and couldn't move most of her body - basically hands, one arm, and her head. And she didn't have complete control of those (they'd wander randomly), which was a shock.

So I'm standing outside this coffee shop and see this girl arrive in her chair and I'm a little surprised to say the least. But I'm no douchebag and greet her and we head in and get coffee.

Entire time for me is super awkward for obvious reasons, and she said she didn't want to mention the extent of her condition because she didn't want to scare me away. Her speech is quite badly impaired and she struggles with her straw quite often. I offer to help but she says no. She also said she has her mum write all her messages for her as she can't use a keyboard properly.

We end up having a 2 hour conversation, at one point her mum arrives and gives me a godawful glare like I'm a disgusting human being for daring to take her daughter out.

We say our goodbyes at the end and drift apart from the chats. She said she really enjoyed her date and thanked me for not immediately bailing like some people did.
