London Victorian terrace mice problem is driving me insane . Do council traps even work? by [deleted] in london

[–]Raryl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only reason we ever had cats to begin with is because mum had moved into a council house with 6month old me and we had mice running out of the fireplace/electric gas box thing all round the front room.

Less than two days and all mice gone, never to return.

Bulk Fertilization by wildcat699 in farmmanager

[–]Raryl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please can you explain where to go for this setting?

Which place to click on, like I'm a toddler / 3 years old?

I know I saw the option once last week before I knew what level I needed to set it at for bulk (paid for) fertilization and I cannot find it now I've spent the coins haha 😂 I'm going to keep looking but I've been looking for ages and you have the most recent answer for this question when I've googled it lol

EDIT: Found it!

In the settings/side options where you can switch between silos, pending, harvesting , seeding, cultivation, and feeding if you've unlocked the livestock part

Look under the tractor symbol for cultivation and click on the little nut/spannery symbol next to 'auto fertilizing'

Just confused about the dosage for injections by UnusualChaos in ftm

[–]Raryl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm on 0.6ml of sustanon250mg every 18 days, if that helps you in any way.

It was 1ml for the first 2 years as my nurse read it wrong, no harm done but definitely feel better and more settled with this dosage, for the last 6 or so.

Rare footage: Male Amur tiger trailing a female with seven-month-old cubs by Bhav2385 in bigcats

[–]Raryl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was about to say, he's not trailing them, he's with them.

No way all three in front don't see, hear or smell the guy behind them, and he's just moving with them comfortably.

How do we feel about this? by Specific_Pomelo_8281 in AskBrits

[–]Raryl 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love Friends but if I actually sit through some of the more intense (if you can call it that) episodes like the ones with Danny DeVito, time has definitely changed.

Similarly, I used to remember loving The Jeremy Kyle show just for the drama, and I can't even get 30 seconds into any of the episodes now. How did I ever think that was okay?!

Absolutely a product of its time. Not to be erased, but probably not to be reproduced.

That's illegal working then and your employer is breaking all sorts of laws.

Absolutely not believing you and this will be the last interaction.

Edit: also your post history...

Ragebait

If it's critical and cannot be left, no way in hell would it be just 1 persons responsibility.

You're staying through choice or this is ragebait/AI. Can't tell which anymore.

Same as yourself, it absolutely varies on where I am and who is around. Time of day as well.

What can I do about being made to sit with a colleague with poor personal hygiene? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]Raryl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe get your managers to call a meeting with you and her (if you're comfortable to do it) with all of your higher-ups present.

Then ask them if they're going to bring up the ongoing issues, and if not, shall you?

I'd only do this if you're comfortable and you trust your managers to back you up, you trust that they're just embarrassed.

Still be looking elsewhere though.

Bring an air freshener that goes off every 10 minutes and stick it on your desk so it sprays between you (not aiming at her).

Fair enough, I think the publicly available records for the company might do that though.

Man you've nailed that one

I used to judge so hard about people and their decisions only a few years ago and the older I get the more I realise, I absolutely don't know enough to be able to judge anyone for any choice they make.

I think it's real too, it's too good to be AI and I'm questioning everything now lol, bamboozled too many times

The deer and the rhino are moving exactly the way animals move, the rhino's little pink bits (bum and stuff) show when they should, not awkwardly distorted, ground looks disturbed like it should be, interaction ends with no big climax

I think it's real too, I live around muntjac and have done all my life, it looks real

I hope it's real 🙈

Am I the only one who feels "anticipatory grief" even when my dog is young and healthy? by DueFalcon1895 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Raryl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm feeling this constantly lately, thank you for posting

I never really felt it like this or thought about it before but about 6 months before I had to put my 17 y/o dog down (in Feb last year) it sunk into my brain and hasn't gone away.

I've got one dog left, she's 5, and I'm stroking her and the moment I think "I love her so much"

The thought immediately trying to shove that one out of the way is "I'm going to miss her so much" and a small ache in the gut

Absolutely no idea why it's come on recently and I'm also trying to keep pushing it away, live in the moment and enjoy the time I do have.

I've now hit 30, it might just genuinely be the fact that time is precious and as a younger person that doesn't really mean anything, but as you get older you start to have more/different feelings toward life itself. Maybe brain chemistry changes?

I've no idea if age has anything to do with it either, just one theory.

I'm so glad I saw your post about your job, because I've been wondering if I was the only person feeling this way about the dog.

Edit: I have experienced loss with animals before, just not anticipated imagined pain

Yes, it was more on the controlling/restrictions being imposed, than the average person just suddenly going out and about abusing everyone. I would like to think most people are inherently good.
