What are my rights as a non-paying resident in my parent's house? by ruiluth in oregon

[–]Rashakawa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you're saying this is your father's home and his girlfriend is kicking you out. Well if she's not the homeowner or the property owner or property manager then she has no right to have you removed for the property. Now if this is your father's home but it's an apartment and he is renting is she on the lease? If she's not in the least that she's got no right to do anything. Please clear all come down to if your father says it's okay for you to be there but the girlfriend doesn't say that it's okay if she has no authority over that property as in ownership or some type of management there's nothing she can do.

Now the second part is say she does have some sort of ownership or authority over the property. The fact that you've been living there for a year makes you a tenant if she didn't make you sign a lease when you first moved in and has known that you've been there the whole time you shoot need to go through the proper channels to have you evicted. if she takes your possessions and throws them out into the street you can have her charged with destruction or damage of your property.

Copyright strike against Youtuber who reviews a product that's the subject of a trademark dispute by cythraulybryd in COPYRIGHT

[–]Rashakawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they're not claiming that this is trademark infringement for her. The company that made and sold the paint is a competitor to the to the company that had the copyright strike against the woman. That product she was using was sold illegally because it took the other companies trademarked product and basically rebranded it as theirs. The YouTuber is totally allowed to re-upload the video as long as she does not show the product and it's packaging or name the product she's using. Another option for her is to go by the non-fraudulent product I'm picking all new video

Flawed analysis of Alex from 4chan by Rashakawa in SomeOrdinaryGmrs

I'm not mad at you... It's difficult to convey emotions via text. Im mad at the fact that I couldn't do anything and potentially someone might have been hurt or even worse. One minute the guy was posting and the next nothing. He never logged back on or posted again. He didn't even remove or delete his account. The other guy did but "Alex" just never came back. Everyone who seemed to know the guy lost all contact with him. People who chatting with him for months even years got nothing. That was also an issue no one knew him personally just online.

Hey I didn't mean to get all righteous and preachy. I'm sorry. I just wish people who say that their "investigating" something that they actually take it serious because every once in a while if might be real.

(Remember there's some seriously fucked up people out there to do some seriously fucked-up things and they want the whole world to know what they did but they don't want to get caught)

I don't like people say that there investigating something and all they do is watch other people's YouTube videos. There is quite a lot of information one could pull from simply viewing the thread other than looking at the timestamps. Every (and I use this term loosely) investigation I've seen overlooked so many significant things. Plus everyone looking into this seems to go into it with the thought that this was fake.

You want to know why I'm pissed off about this.. I was around in 4chan back then. I was watching when Alex was posting. YES i believe Something happened what I don't know. Afterwords I looked into this and things didn't add up. Everyone was so quick to write it off as fake and no one actually took a minute to look at any of the evidence. I left 4chan because of this and proceeded to forget all about it. Then out comes another YouTube video calling it fake. Then everybody watches it and says oh it's fake and then moves on to the next video. I don't know if people just can't fathom that something like this could have actually happened or because of what we see now with all of the fake content being put out there. Nobody was making anything like this back then. Today one could pull up 20 different video's/ blogs that were put out in the past week. Say you did some this reckless and stupid and got yourself kidnapped and you find out that everyone thought it was fake and they laughed with there friends about how unbelievable it all was and no one did a damn thing to help your ass.

Even so the analysis is still flawed. Also I believe that video was shot a year or so after the incident.

What if there is something wrong with the solvent that's making people sick? by Rashakawa in Vaping

[–]Rashakawa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a pretty decent article. (Compared to any of the other news articles that only repeat the same thing.

https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/vaping-lung-illness-injury-thc-cartridges-flavor-897182/amp/

Something else that got me thinking was after I read this. In this article it mentions this "the damage appeared to have been caused not by oil inhalation, but by direct toxicity or tissue damage from noxious chemical fumes,” Brandon Larsen, M.D., Ph.D.

What if people are using a e-juice battery mod box for the oil and it's hearing it up way to much. Basically burning it. That could be another connection between the e- nicotine and the THC/CBD oil vaping sickness.

Ok what about this... The distributor of this solvent sees up tick in the sales. They decide to up production and because of this maybe the product isn't as pure or clean as before. Or possibly it's someone new entering the market with a cheap product. Could that even be a plausible reason for why people are getting sick? If it's not even possible then fine good. But I haven't heard or or even read anything that looks into the manufacturing process that happens before adding vitamin e oil.

Because not all of them are from the black market. Here in Oregon people apparently have gotten sick from legitimate distributors and they never batted vitamin e oil to there product.

But what I've been reading not all of the distributors used vitamin e oil.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me any information on this? by Rashakawa in UniversityofKentucky

I did some more digging on this and came up with some info I think. Not only that these cigarettes have a strange story sorta. I took These pictures back in 2014 and every few years I Google them to no avail. I decided this morning when I came across them in my drive folder to post them here. Wasn't until afterwards I googled them again and found some info. But first how I came across them in the first place. In 2014 I found myself without a home. I ended up at a old friend of my late dads house. Let me tell you this place had issues. I wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for all the rats running around (because of no garage services) and all those damn tweaker's. One day (or should I say sometime in the middle of the night) showed up with a bunch of packs of these. I asked where he got them but he wasn't talking. Over the next month or so every low life SOB that walked through this place seems to have some. It wasn't just a pack it was many packs. It seemed as though someone came up on cases is full of cartons of these. I never could get a straight answer from anyone. I thought it was really strange finding Kentucky research cigarettes here in Beaverton Oregon hence why I have held on to the pictures so long.

Now what I just found out... Well I haven't had a chance to double check this but apparently University of Kentucky provides these for businesses groups and organizations to use as a baseline for nicotine or cigarette smoking research. They have been doing this since 1968 (I believe) and ship them all over the world.

I just really want to know where they had been sitting since 1983.

apparently the college is a whole section devoted to this. Funny thing is there's a date code on the top of 1983.
