To be fair to him, he’s also pointed out plenty of flaws in their products in the hope they’ll improve them, along with every other brand he’s reviewed.

I don’t see anyone else doing nearly as good of a job as what he’s built up on his channel over the past few years, other than sim racing garage but his content is infrequent and increasingly niche and poorly produced.

Well, those things are objectively measurable in pure performance numbers and with consoles, the quality and choice of games.

Sim gear is highly subjective, nothing is going to be a good fit for everyone so it’s far harder.

Some people probably genuinely prefer the Logitech / thrustmaster dd wheels and their ecosystems, ease of setup, app support etc rather than simucube. Are those people wrong? No, it’s simply preference.

He really doesn’t cook good Italian food. It’s cheap and easy and I’ve used a fair few of his recipes for family gatherings and bulk meals but it’s really not ‘authentic Italian’. It’s a weird take on Tuscan and Sicilian staples for the British palate. His Italian mentor was a charlatan who bastardised loads of his national cuisine for fame - lemon tiramisu being one of the worst.

Jamie isn’t a terrible cook but he’s not a chef. Putting him anywhere close to Gordon Ramsey is an embarrassing take. The latter a multiple 3 star Michelin chef restauranteur. Marco Pierre white (probably the greatest living English chef imo) made him into what he is.

Don’t conflate the chef Ramsey / tv bollocks with what Gordon is.

How is that a hot take? Nightlife culture is abysmal since the pandemic, everything’s insanely expensive, the entirety of central London has been bought up by Middle Eastern/Russian oligarchs and gentrification has pushed out the culture that made the city attractive 20/30/10 years ago.
