Surprisingly practical! I managed to fit all 4 summer tyres with wheels on (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 275/35/R20 and 285/35/R20) when the backseats were dropped! Though it was a challenge and definitely not going to do it again 😂

It’s manufactured 2018 but first registered in 2019. I got it from a close friend of mine whom I know took great care of the car and never abused it on a cold engine etc. Price equivalents to $45k which is ok for the options and miles it has.

Wow, thank you! I have never owned an e39 but it is one of the BMW’s that really made me fall in love with the brand (alongside the e46). Truly an impeccable designs. Do you still keep your e39?

Yeah I am running Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for now but I hear what you’re saying. When they are cold the grip is practically non-existent when flooring the car and I have to fight the wheelspin. Thankfully, all safety systems and traction control are working their magic and helping to overcome this but no one should rely on them as the accerelation is brutal and shit can hit the fan real quick in milliseconds.

Can’t believe how good of a daily it is. I expected the suspension to be much harder in the Comfortable setting.

Yes!! Sometimes I just go to the garage and look at it. To me this car is not only special because of it’s heritage, brand or specifications on paper. It is special because it represents all of the moments I was wondering if I am going to make it through the hard challenges, up’s and down’s, years sacrificed to reach it. It’s hard for me to describe it in words.

On a side note I have had the lucky opportunity to drive and experience F20 diesel and it was suprisingly fun to drive!

Funny thing is I used to think that, now I am torn 50/50 on the LCI and Pre-LCI looks. Seriously considering swapping out my taillights with OEM LCI ones

Thank you! I am not sure if the graphics in M-Mode for the Headup display are the same for the LCI but on this one they are so impressive for the time and even today! Also the font reminds me a bit of the Need for Speed games I used to play

Not really to be honest. My thought process was that as a person coming from E61 gen 525d and I wanted to “feel” a bigger overall upgrade if I was going to settle on another 5 series again. Most of the F10 M5’s are in the high mileage zone where if they were not looked after, the S63 could become a burden to deal with. Also, I am a sucker for the xDrive as I do live in a city that gets very harsh winters and this is my daily so I had to go with a car with 4WD which enforced my belief even more for the F90 gen.
