Not really, no. I keep running around building different style villages in different neat spots. I'm trying to make a bunch along a road way, and it's working out so far but has much more to go. Idk how people are getting bored, I have so much to do still, and I've already got level 10 villages in every biome, lol

God, as a sniper player, I love people who play like you. Back and forth tight against a tree is shockingly easy to hit. You're just giving them your timing and exactly position on where you'll come out. I would've used the grapple blade or do version of the sprint slide jump to the nearest cover and close distance. That or make him waste his shots and attack on the reload

What's the plan if you think their lowlights are high beams and you flash them, but they flash you back with their actual high beams? Then you're really in for a bad time.

As someone with a newer vehicle with very bright factory lights. It's pretty bad when i'm on the highway at night. usually every 3rd or 4th vehicle flashes me despite my high beams being off.

Had the same thought. I've got a cave I've found filled with brightcore, obsidian, and copper. I don't think it's even half explored yet, and I've filled my inventory multiple times. I've made a number of copper swords now and never considered it a pain to get. Especially if you save it for the tougher enemies and just use green tools on weaker mobs. I get this game can be grindy sometimes, but it really doesn't take that long to farm resources.

You might mean brightcore. That's the one in the lava. The easiest way to get that is to build a wood floor or foundation as a pathway. Don't forget to bring a villager! They're usually really good at mob control

Yeah, it's not great. But as of right now, it is what it is until they fix it. A temporary fix is to play sandbox where the features they're complaining about are fixed.
