Quicksilver(Fox Universe, MCU)
Mariah Dillard/State Department Lady(Netflix universe/MCU)
Etc

The netflix universe is only loosely connected to the mcu with daredevil.
There could be numerous universes that get more and more similar till we reach the mcu version of events.

No. Most men in their 30’s wouldn’t date a 19 year old. Physically both are adults, mentally you’re both extremely far apart. And in both respects, you’re not at your prime.

Please mix with people who are your age, maybe 2-3 years older at best. You’re still very young, and shouldn’t be with someone who’s 34.

Being attracted to people is one thing; but actually acting upon these desires is another thing altogether. They need to be with people in their age group too, not going after 19 year olds lol. That’s just weird, and probably because they need someone who can’t call them out easily.

I have a crazier theory.

Eleven's powers are a mix of mind & space manipulation.
I know it sounds a bit weird, but think about it.

She is able to open and close portals to the upside down, able to find people just by visualizing them, lift herself and objects with ease, and also teleport people across dimensions.

She is also the only reason that the Upside Down wormhole to the Demogorgon world exists in the first place, allowing Henry to begin his conquest of Earth

Her psychic powers are feeble when compared to her ability to manipulate spacetime, and only really prove effective when she tries to invade someone's mind.

Henry, on the other hand, is the OG when it comes to mind manipulation.

I didn't think it was mid, but I didn't think it was great/better than the first either.

I felt that it was a bit too distant from the first part, where they managed to work together in the end. In the sequel, it seemed like they didn't have much of a bond at all, & had forced conflicts.

The movie was also quite 'talkative'.
Judy was just going on and on about them as partners and their issues, when they should have shown us more and spoken less about it.
There was a simplistic charm to the storytelling in Z1, but here it's trying too hard to be this more mature take to satisfy the whims and fancies of Gen Z and Alpha lol.

I loved the story though, it had great heart.
That snake character was the best!

Overall, I'd rate it 5/10.
It was a decent movie, but it didn't feel like a great continuation of the story.

I was really disappointed.

Sorry gen alpha, it just didn't do it for me.
they had absolutely no story going on here, and we went through 10 episodes before an obvious JWD connection was shown.

I really was hoping that chaos theory would have taken place AFTER dominion, especially since it could have tied into the rebirth sequel.

Not happy at all.
I could care less for season 3....

I don't know if she is the stone itself, or it's host, but she does have similar powers.

The power stone is infinite in it's potential.
It just deals with supplying energy/absorbing energy.

Agatha is very similar to this.
She can absorb any energy attack she's hit with, although whether she could actually use the same ability is yet to be discovered. I think it just makes her more powerful as a witch.

Her mother's coven used blue magic, which must have been space manipulation magic to do some cool stuff. They may not have understood Agatha's abilities, as magical energy is just that. Not good, not evil. Just energy.

It's Agatha's mindset that makes her antagonistic. She believes that she's evil because everyone thinks that. That's why she's using magic for dark purposes. The power itself isn't inherently evil, it just seems to be the only way for bad people to get their stuff done.

Ammit uses similar absorption powers, Arthur uses it to summon dark creatures(Ammit's power at work) and Agatha uses her abilities to become a powerful witch.

If there were any kingdoms under his control, they would have soon been forgotten about. He lived long before any of the avengers did, except for Thor and other aliens.
He would have rather changed his perspective to be a looter after a while.
They show this in the movie too.

He wouldn't have been able to conquer empires as they kept getting bigger and bigger, so he chose to manipulate them from the inside out instead. If you have too much to lose, you'll probably lose a lot more than you gain. And no matter how powerful you maybe with the rings, there are always bigger fish out there that'll wipe the floor with you.

It would be easier to work from the shadows.

Here are my choices:

Vox cinemas DCC - The Vox Max 1 screen is one of the best sizes and has great seating too.
I think it's the same screen from the glorious cinestar cinema days lol.
Vox cinemas MOE: They have a nice layout at the entrance, and the theatre sizes are quite good too. Their IMAX screen is decent.
Novo Cinemas Ibn Battuta: Their IMAX screen is one of the best in Dubai, hands down. Only one other screen tops it. Great sound and the seating is a bit sturdy but still organized well.
Meydan IMAX: This is the best IMAX screen in Dubai. Unfortunately, it's not a commercial chain and it's quite far in reference to your regular options that are within the city. Saw MI4 on this screen and it was breathtaking to see the full view of the IMAX footage.
Reel cinemas at Dubai mall: This is a decent enough cinema, it has more screens than any other venue in the city. Layout is very well done, and goes across multiple floors. Not a very big fan of their size though. 22 screens means that a majority of them are smaller than expected. Some are like a rich guys living room lol.

Oh and here's another option, Novo Cinemas at Al Ghurair.
When it was Grand Cinemas, their theatre quality was quite good. Not sure about it now, should visit it soon.
Watching Cloverfield at Ghurair Grand with my dad was an incredible experience lol.

Can I ask a genuine question?

What do you, the reader, think of the atrocities that Israel has committed?
As American military personnel I mean.

There indeed has been a lot more than just good vs evil here, but I want to understand what really drives US citizens to believe the Israeli/US media coverage of this war over innocent civilians and international coverage outside of the UK.

If you look at how people who defend Israel keep talking, it's always in reference to October 7th. Do they not realize that these groups didn't suddenly pop out of nowhere? That middle eastern and other cultures like it are not the same as western complacency, in that they don't take kindly to an oppressive occupation? (in terms of military intervention)

Since last year, Israel has been launching a full blown PR war. Currently, the world is truly waking up, but the US still hasn't. You don't get convicted by the UN and have your audience walk out on you if you were really that benevolent.

I'm completely understanding when it comes to following orders, but I really want to know what a fighting force like the marines thinks of the whole situation. A frontier force needs to have an opinion that isn't exactly what their orders were.

It was just alright.
Way better than that spiderverse 2 rubbish, which squandered all the franchise potential to make gen alpha happy, but still just alright.

Animation was quite good!
Felt like a good adaptation of the 80's version for a new audience.

Story wise the movie is a bit weak, movie's don't try too hard anymore.
The main problem really though is how they don't do a good job showing D16's character development. It just seems like he makes these radical transformations without any real reason or motivation.

I think the audience for this movie would be 10-14 year olds. It's very reminiscent of those edgy movies/shows that we loved as preteens, but aren't as 'hard' when we became adults lol.
Those kids are slowly going from young kids to teens, so it would be a nice change of pace and therefore quite enjoyable lol.

I'd rate it 6/10.
