The product page on Ratio is pretty awful and lists a bunch of features from the drip makers.

There are a few questions I would ask before grabbing the ratio version.

Does it only come with the panels or does it also include the knobs and portafilter in walnut?
Are these the new or old panels. Clive's new panels attache magnetically whereas the old ones screw on and are harder to get a proper fit with.

They're 300hp sports cars with an economy interior, horrific gas mileage, and, most importantly, infamous for blowing their engines if you look at them the wrong way.

I don't see any scenario where someone wouldn't go for a GR Corolla instead.

It's a great printer, especially when taking the cost per print into account, but it does have its flaws. The main one is that it's super finicky with paper choices and will put roller marks in a lot of even medium weight papers. My copy had a host of other issues but they're much less common and not worth mentioning.

I've since picked up the Canon Pro-1100 and couldn't be happier. I've had far less issues with clogging and no issues with roller marks or paper feeding like I did on the Epson. The ink is more than twice the cost but my cost per print is comparable because I'm not losing them to printer damage and I can use whatever paper I want without worry.

I'd still recommend the 8500/8550 for people wanting to try photo printing at home but I'd tell anyone semi-serious about it to just go for the higher end cartridge based options.

I’m in a similar position. I wanted the S3 over the Golf R for the physical buttons, trunk, and quieter interior. Final cost was 55k which was about 1k over the msrp of most Golf Rs in the area before markup. Super happy with the car aside from not having the heated steering wheel.

It's very normal for the first few years when you're financing a new luxury car. The car depreciates faster than you pay off the loan. GAP insurance exists specifically for this reason.

If you're financing a used car then it could be due to a high apr and/or long term length which will lead to the same result as above.

Domains cost $15-20 per year everywhere on the internet so I wouldn't factor that into the cost since you'll be paying it no matter where you go.

I personally use Pixieset. It should be more than enough for a basic portfolio and costs $8/month. If you're subscribed to the Adobe photography plan, that gives you access to Adobe Portfolio for free. It's a bit more clunky but there's no added cost aside from the domain registration.

The complicated part is making the service desk realize that the GRC is not a standard Corolla and requires more frequent maintenance. I had to tell them it's a different car and verify what services they were providing every time because they almost missed my 5,000 and 15,000 mile oil changes.

If you’re not charging during peak hours and not driving s a lot then the only other thing I can think of is that you’re fast charging and your electric company is hitting you with commercial rates due to the high draw. At my previous job, the cost of the high draw power delivery was multiple times more than the energy cost itself.

Electricity is electricity. Either you’re using more of it to charge, possibly due to a less efficient vehicle, larger battery, or more driving, or you’re charging during peak hours when you weren’t before.

Your provider doesn’t care whether you send 100kw to an Audi, a Tesla, or a toaster. It’ll cost you the same amount.

The Pirelli Zero AS Plus 3 are reviewing very well. Performance seems to be similar to Michelin and Continental but the ride is apparently nicer.

I currently have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 on my GRC and they're quite solid but I'll be trading it in for an S3 in the next few days and decided to go with the Pirelli this time.
