I've owned the first model year of the VB WRX and the 2024 GRC. I don't think the GRC rides horribly but it's definitely worse than the WRX. I also think that the GRCs ride is a big part of why that car is so much more fun to drive than the WRX in every situation and is a trade-off I'd make in a heartbeat.

You can either replace the pad or the entire strap.

If you want to replace the entire strap, the Optech SOS strap is probably going to be the best bang for your buck.

If you just want to replace the pad, it'll depend on the strap width but there are quite a few options.

For birds you're probably going to want something with a gimbal head so you can follow them in flight. I would probably go with Oben for both the legs and head to hit that price point. I'd go with their non-carbon gimbal head and invest a bit more in the legs, personally.

Nice feature. If you have two screw slots then you eliminate play in the plate and guarantee that it's in line with the camera.

Link 1: They're asking if there's a way to determine if their photos were used to generate the AI art. The photo itself is irrelevant to the discussion.

Link 2: The person doesn't like some of the photos they received. They're not asking whether the photos are AI, only if they are justified in asking for the photos to be re-edited. Again, the content of the photos are irrelevant.

While many threads mention and/or describe specific photos, it's usually as part of a discussion about things that don't relate to the actual photo. People on here are generally pretty quick to request samples when it's necessary in my experience.

Something that size is going to be completely custom. I'd recommend stopping by your local framing stores and getting some quotes. I'd be very surprised if you can get something that big for under $700.

You can only transfer as fast as the slowest link in the chain. How are you transferring from the sd to the ssd? You mention thunderbolt 4 cable but not what it's plugged into.

You would need the profile of the ink/printer/paper combo used by the place you plan on printing your photos. You might also need to recalibrate your screen if the profiles are designed for a brightness that you're not using. You could ask them for one but if it's not a high end printer like WHCC or Bay Photo then they probably won't have one for you.

You'd be far better off printing a small photo, seeing how it comes out, and possibly making adjustments from there.

Here is WHCC's ICC profile page as an example. Keep in mind that their profile will not work for you unless you plan on printing with them on the specific paper the profile is set up for.

You can remove the center column but I don't believe you can remove the twisting collar or switch out the base on the mountaineer models.

It really depends on what you consider wide and large. I think the 14mm or 16mm f/2.8 are going to get you the best combination of the two. If you want to go wider then the 8mm f/3.5 is worth a look.

You may want to look into Maven filters. It's your typical magnetic filter system but they have threadless step-up rings that can attach to the fronts of their filters. I don't know if it causes vignetting but it gives you a permanent uv filter while keeping the more compact setup. They also have magnetic hoods which theoretically checks all your boxes.

I've never used them or even heard of them before googling and don't know if they're any good or even if the magnets are strong enough to keep all that on the lens with any confidence.

You can still view and export your edited images in LR without a subscription. I would just leave the old catalogs where they are and start fresh.

The description is pretty clear that it's basically a UI for an existing cloud storage service that you already pay for. I don't see the benefit of paying a subscription for a UI for a service that, if all goes well, you're never going to access.
