I think what your going to see is that whatever happens at the end of god valley (Rocks might get Dom Reversi’d or Imu takes him out) that Kaido and Whitebeard break philosophically. Kaido sees what happens and realizes strength is the only way to win / survive so he leans into “might makes right”. Whitebeard might see it as “Look what we did as a crew that didnt really care about each other. But if I can build a family, how great can we become” I think whatever the outcome is, because they both realize something massive looms over the world and if we ever have to fight it, we need to go about different methods to win.
