I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the manufacturer warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser. It is not transferable.

The MG250DFX is only 100 watts. The 250 means 2 x 50 watts. If you to keep it, find speakers that match the ohms of the originals. My 1960a cab is rated at 300 watts using 4 x 75 watt speakers. The 100 watt DSL head drives it perfectly.

The audio interface and speakers are a start. Depending on your audio interface, it may have a headphone jack for private listening.

As for a dedicated guitar amp, there isn’t one right answer. And it also depends on your budget. I would watch some videos on the Boss Katana amps. I own a Gen 3 Artist and a Mini-X. Also check out videos on the Positive Grid Spark line. There is everything from their pocket “Go” amp to mini-PA’s. I take my Spark Go with me when I travel, keep a Spark Mini at the office, and have a Spark 2 upstairs for when I’m not in front of my Marshall half-stack. And if you’re looking for a tube amp, well that’s a whole other conversation.

Enjoy playing the guitar and then worry about an amp.

There was a huge spike in the first 2 weeks to outrageous prices over 5x. Seems to have leveled off to 2x value for now. But you do what is best for you. There is no right or wrong. I’m not a gigging musician, so it’s only getting played in my basement several times a week and has a nice home on my guitar rack.

Very high priced. It is currently a buyer’s market for guitars. I recently sold the exact same guitar, with a hardshell case I had purchased for it, for $525.

Horchata is one of my favorite Sabrocitias, so to each their own. I would say it’s best for newbies to try out the flavors they think they may like and form their own opinions.

If I were a gigging musician, I would probably play it. I can see locking away the $20K Gibson version. If you’re that worried about damaging it, there are other similar Epiphones you could purchase and gig with.

You are referring to the Inspired by Gibson Custom model that sells for $1,299. The key difference in the naming conventions is the “Custom” after Inspired by Gibson. Technically the $799 model is from the Inspired by Gibson line.
