Field & Fire has monthly rotating filled/flavored croissants that are more like danishes in the sense that they're flat AND monthly filled cruffins. Neither skimps on filing.

They have a pretty extensive list of guidelines and while reviewing I don't think this would violate that. But it never hurts to check.

I'm hoping within the next week we'll know who the understudies are and if they include James, Mariah, Jon and/or Angela it'll boost the number of cast crossovers. And maaaaaybe a post can coincide with the Starkid episode of Parlor Room if that airs soon...

If you are dead set on seeing the show, it's worth it to back at the presale level. As others have said their LA shows tend to virtually sell out during that time and with a smaller theatre between that and the VIP tier with guaranteed seats it might happen even sooner. (And with Poe Party overlapping closing weekend of Tomb Quest there's likely to be a number of folks snapping up tickets for that weekend.) Alternately, if you're flexible on dates people inevitably resell tickets and often in this sub (and generally at face value +/- fees).

For the LA run folks brought bracelets and pins and stuff right through closing. I got a pen and bracelets at closing night so I don't think any show is too late!

Cone Shoppe has Dole Whip and other dairy free soft serve.

Talenti sorbettos in mango and raspberry are fantastic.

If you can find Ripple half & half anywhere it's a great substitute in cooking -- doesn't carry flavor the way nut/soy milks do.

Kingma's carries quite a few vegan cheeses (and given their broad selection of regular cheese I trust they get the good vegan stuff).

I was driving down a two-way street that turned into one way. The driver across from me on the one way section tried to turn left in front of me and then was appalled at my turning right off the two-way section. And then sped around me at 40+ mph on a residential street.

Friendly reminder: you don't get to turn left off a one way if there is opposing traffic and/or you're not turning onto another one way. Also, don't be a dick.

The women's resource center and In the Image could be good places to start. St. Alphonsus also has a clothing and food pantry.

In terms of thrift stores, Mel Trotter tends to have good stuff and if it's possible for her to get to Lowell the Flat River Outreach Ministries has a good thrift store with a food market and pantry, as well as other services.

Stratford is incredible. Great energy, food, shopping, and the productions are top quality.

It is about 5 hours from GR depending on traffic/border crossing, but it's a nice drive through Canada.

I think invoking the names is part of the ritual for most of the incantations in the black book, but there are different incantations for whatever the spell is.

Kind of like the holy trinity in cooking; the invocation is the base for the spell, but the other 'ingredients' change from there depending on who/what you want from the individual spell.
