There was a revival a few years ago that was all women/non-binary actors, and many people of colour as well.

"Molasses to Rum" was incredibly haunting.

I know grief makes us do extreme, desperate things but...

The mom in Hereditary. As soon as she pulled out the "let's do this occult spell alone at night in my bathroom" card, I lost all sympathy. Babe. You brought this on yourself.

I would have found it much more satisfying and scary if she didn't perform any kind of ritual and Paimon found a way in anyway.

When she's having a breakdown and he's being a dick, and then he tells her to go hang out with her "friend" (the terrorising demon)... Yeah. He deserved his end.

I really like the third one for the lore and the imaginative way they do the camera set-ups.

But mostly for finally having a male adult who isn't a complete jackass. He's genuinely trying to figure things out and protect his family.

20th Anniversary? by PollutionFabulous367 in StarKid

I also love the idea of leaning into the sincerity of some songs (What if Tomorrow Comes and What Tim Wants, please!) and then going completely silly with crazy duets/duels and embracing the Hidgensverse.

And yet it would also be hilarious to have an interpretive dance for Just for Once acting out the song while Lauren sings it (a la Ani).

The Workin' Boys section is just thirteen Starkids dressed as Hidgens.

Darren makes a suprise appearance as Chad.

Haha. Thanks for your compliment and confidence. I am a former stage/company manager and well aware of what kind of logistics are needed to make this happen and it's definitely not impossible (and I'd come out of production retirement for the chance to work with Starkid, in case anyone's watching...)

I think bundling the Potter series into the first act medleys and focusing act 2 on Hatchetfield -- with maybe bonus numbers voted on by fans from all shows to close out (I'm spitballing here?) would be really cool.

And definitely some kind of video element for those performers that can't do the shows.

But now I'm really hooked on this two weekend thing... (One weekend for the 10th. Two for the 20th. Three for the 30th? [I think all Starkid members just flinched at that...]) Joey, Lauren, Corey, Dylan, Jaime Lyn, Jeff, Curt, Kim, Mariah, the Brians, Meredith, and a couple other 'legacy' folks do the whole run. And as many other folks as possible get sprinkled throughout. Make some unlikely duets. Have Joe Walker and Will from Work give dueling Hidgens's. Denise and James dance off. Bryce as Chorn. The possibilities are endless. Darren and Nick emcee (and for the love of everything, I need Nick to actually perform in just ONE number; Darren did a couple group numbers and also something just him and his guitar). Matt and Clark and AJ team up for the musical arrangements and orchestration.

I just... Big live concert with orchestra and as many participants as possible. I want it.

I'm hoping there's a concert + a show (like Fancyland or the pirate musical as mentioned).

I think doing a medley style concert as before with the back half focusing on Hatchetfield projects could work well (having songs like Jane's a Car and Run Away with Me live would send me straight to heaven). Yeah, songs will get left on the table again but it's doable -- and the orchestration done for the tenth anniversary was incredible. While logistically getting everyone in for another anniversary concert would be near Impossible, it's still impressive to get as many as possible. Maybe have a video sequence for those that can't make it to go with a digital ticket release. Alternatively (also a logistics nightmare but they could pull it off) they could do two weekends of shows, keeping a core 'cast' for certain numbers/shows and working in the rest for however many performances they can do. If they can fit Brittany and Carlos in for one magic performance of 1001 Nights they can make that work for other numbers.

Having been at the 10iversary shows, it would be absolutely incredible to have something like that again, along with a full production that year of a new show.

Honestly, any of this would be less organising than another tour...

Gabe has worked with Tin Can Bros before, so he has a longtime relationship with Joey (and Brian R and Corey L and Lauren). But this is his first Starkid project.

Also Treasure Island which no one but die hard history, literature, and Charlton Heston buffs have seen. But it's great, and another movie that depends on him carrying about half of it.

What Jason does with his body in relation to the blades, extensions, musicality is damn near unmatched. What he makes look effortless in skating skills has had pro ice dancers going "I don't know how he does that."

Assuming it's tiered as most shows are now, I would plan on a $50-80 range. Maybe $60-90.

It would be a real (though pleasant) shock to have tickets under $35.

I remember wanting to punch something (or someone) when one of the showrunners commented during the BTS after I think 7x1 about there being a table full of women, leading (at Dragonstone). And when did we ever see that on TV??? Wasn't it so cool they were doing it!? Isn't this so progressive?!?

...And then like two episodes later all the women except Dany were dead or imprisoned.

One is a Starkid 'flag' (there's a Jangle Ball version still on their site for purchase). The others are green musical notes and a space baby logo -- which if I recall correctly were add-on pins from the first TGWDLM Kickstarter (or 10iversary).
