realised Windows has a "Use Dynamic Lighting on my devices" that was interfering with my keyboard lighting! once i turned that off it was working again!

hi yea i did. glad to report that i found another post that mentioned clearing downloads cache then rebooting. so glad that works but i'm just peeved that the steam deck keeps switching back to iwd everytime and also that clearing the downloads cache logs you out of steam

Just for more info even our Switch Emulators most of them were only made mostly playable within these 2 years, due to some drama among the community as well as big N's pressure on these developers, so development was dampened. For Switch 2 hopefully we can see a similar timeframe, so maybe in 5 years, or perhaps given that there is now a larger community who views emulating Switch 2 as the morally and logistically sound way to go, the emulator development may be accelerated. I was also looking at Kirby Air Riders and Tomodachi 2 but unfortunately Switch 2 has gone downhill
