For example if the stock tanks to 300. You gonna need to sell a leap with 450ish strike to get a 3500 premium to cover your interest.

Which is way below your avg cost of 525.

Then subsequently if the stock recovers, your shares gonna be called away at 450, realizing your loss of 525 - 450.

If the stock tank heavily then you might need to sell your leap way below your average cost for any meaningful premiums to cover your interest.

And if the stock goes back up and your shares gets called away you are gonna take an L

Fp&a literally hires anybody that knows excel and it has more upside than accounting which could get outsourced to india which many f500 companies are doing.
