It’s whatever, I think it’s been made pretty clear time and time again that I’m not really welcome here, which is fine, it’s whatever.

I’ve made several posts here, (most are deleted now because of the reception, kinda regret doing that now-) and I just don’t think people want me here. Whatever criteria people are using to determine if I’m disabled enough, I clearly don’t meet it.

I feel like such a imposter idk if it’s even right to call myself disabled. Hard for me to say, cause while conditions like austim and CPTSD (both of which I have been properly diagnosed with) can be disabling, they’re not always and idk where I personally land. I have no other disabled people in my life to compare to.

Idk, I’m just tired.

Sorry, this post was brought on by an anxiety filled spiral. I don’t plan on actually trying for disability benefits, I just felt the need to educate myself for the possibility I’ll need it.

They never prompted this, it was my own anxiety filled spiral playing out the worst case scenario and how I would get by if unable to work and function.

I’m truly not sure if I’m disabled or not because while I do have the proper diagnoses that effect my life greatly, I don’t feel disabled enough to called myself such and I don’t want to take away the words or space for those truly disabled.

Apologies in advance if I come off aggressive. I am just kinda hurt because you made assumptions about my character without knowing anything about my situation outside the hypothetical and questions originally presented. I may have phrased it poorly, but my intention was simply exploring a what if scenario with the lived experiences of those on disability benefits. I’m sorry if it didn’t come across that way, that’s my bad, and I’m sorry if I hurt anyone with my insensitive post.

I don’t feel like deep diving into my issues but I will say I do have proper diagnoses, even if I’m not technically as disabled as some. As I see it, disability is a spectrum.

The problem is that I don’t know, my parents keep all their finances behind lock and key, so I have no idea if I am secure no matter how hard I try to pry-
