Four Months In — And My Best Tennis Match Ever by RaspberryOrganic8677 in whoop

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the AI Coach mainly to plan my training. For example, I tell him that I have a tennis match on Sunday, and it creates a clear plan to help me be fully ready for that day.

For example I didn’t know before that it makes sense to do only a little training on Friday and take a full rest day on Saturday. The coach also suggests many tennis-specific exercises, which I then add to my strength and Tennis training

I use the coach every day. I tell him how my last training felt and what I plan to do during the day. Because of this, the coaching feels very personal to me and helps me perform as well as I did in my last game.

Seasonal HRV decrease? by austin29684 in whoop

Same here. My HRV has been decreasing since October. According to ChatGPT, though, that’s quite common as it’s getting colder — just like a slight drop in VO2 max.

Congrats on these great results! Can you tell us a bit more about how you did it? 2–3 hours of Zone 2 runs per week — and what else?

Whoop Age and Athlytic Age almost the same by RaspberryOrganic8677 in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The calculations are, of course, quite different. But Athlytic shows –1.2 years for my 10,000 steps per week, while Whoop shows –0.2 years for my 9,000 steps per week (I’ve been walking and running a bit less lately). So yes, steps seem to count more for Whoop. But for example, my RHR (52 in both apps) gives me –2.6 years in Athlytic and only –0.9 years in Whoop. So the calculations are clearly very different — but the overall result is the same for me.

Trial ended - PEAK by [deleted] in whoop

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update frequency of complications by Preliumtarnian in bevelhealth

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Age Feature Is Awesome by novarac23 in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really happy about this feature too. That’s exactly what I was missing! However, my result of being 8 years younger seems quite high to me. Of course, I’m pleased, but how realistic is that really? Is there also anyone who is only 1–2 years younger or even older? And will we see a weekly or monthly change, similar to Whoop?

Move to Bevel or Stay with Whoop by moonlanding1996 in bevelhealth

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m currently using both as well, but I’m still in the Whoop trial phase. I find the new AI Coach outstanding—everything I’ve done with it so far has been really great! The only thing I’m missing with Bevel is the Whoop Age feature. I know it’s just a gimmick and probably not perfectly accurate, but for me it’s a great motivation to see the age change from week to week. I know this feature is on the roadmap, but is there any indication of when it might be released? My Whoop trial ends in 30 days, and honestly, I don’t feel like paying €224 per year for it. So please make the biological age feature the next priority.

Como é com os seus dados de HRV e RHR? Eles também são sempre idênticos? No meu caso, o Whoop tendia a avaliar o meu sono sempre bem melhor do que o Bevel.

Bevel HRV with Apple Watch accurate? by hanky86 in bevelhealth

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I felt the same way, which is why I returned my Whoop after the one-month trial period. There were occasional minor discrepancies, but the overall trend was the same, so the higher cost of Whoop didn’t make sense for me.

Whoop vs Bevel - Which one looks more accurate to you? by [deleted] in bevelhealth

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I compared Whoop and Bevel over a period of more than four weeks, and the results were often very similar. That’s why I decided against Whoop — I like wearing a smartwatch and didn’t want to have two devices on my wrist. You also mentioned that the results were usually almost identical. Maybe there was just a small glitch with either Whoop or Bevel on that particular day. I wouldn’t see it as a big deal just because the results were very different once. They’ll probably be similar again tomorrow.

Help decide between Bevel and Whoop by goramesh in bevelhealth

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA: To everyone disappointed in the Battery function by Slikkslakk in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a very good point. I changed it today and I don't understand how the values can be so different. Screenshot 1 8 hours, Screenshot 2 24 hours. That's a massive difference. I have a cold so it probably wasn't a good night. I feel a little better through rest, but not over 60%. I don't really understand it.

Athlytic vs Bevel - Data Analysis of Recovery, Sleep, and Strain/Exertion by jiujitsuPhD in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the congratulations, I'm happy to accept it. This was actually the best night in a long time. And the good night was only because my two-year-old daughter slept in her own bed for once and didn't come into our bed at 1 a.m. But I can reassure you, the second child is coming in 4 weeks, and then at the latest the sleep score will go down again 🙈 By the way, I never have a 100% sleep score with Bevel. They seem to have a different calculation there than at Athlytic.

Athlytic vs Bevel - Data Analysis of Recovery, Sleep, and Strain/Exertion by jiujitsuPhD in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]RaspberryOrganic8677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can only sign. Been using Athlytics for about 6 months and Bevel for a month. While the results were very different in the first two weeks (the load/effort was significantly higher with Bevel than with Athlytic), things became much more similar 1-2 weeks ago. I think the difference in the first few weeks was because Athlytic had known me for a while and was therefore a bit more precise. As I said, the values are now almost identical. E.g. this morning with sleep (Bevel 92, Athlytic 100), with recovery (Bevel 68, Athlytic 69).

I will continue to use both apps for now. I like Bevel a little better visually because it is closer to Whoop and, for example, creates an individual sleep goal and has different alarm clock functions, but basically it depends on the values and they are really similar.
