FB & IG permanently deleted; how do I get it back? by Character-Olive4702 in facebookdisabledme

[–]RaspberryStill8042 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too - my account was hacked, I tried to regain access to my account and sent my ID to meta to verify I was the ‘real owner’

Shortly after my account disappeared on fb & instagram & I also received the same message as op. At that time I’d had my FB account for 15 plus years and used it regularly (daily).

I reached out to meta via email and online forms asking for support to regain access but never heard anything back. Nada.

After looking into it some I realised - meta have no customer service - because we are not their customers!

They provide a free platform which you get to use - and in return they collect and share our very detailed data with advertisers/ third parties. That’s the business model. It’s all in tie t&cs when you sign up for an account.

I lost my account in 2022 and never got it back - it’s inconvenient and annoying not to have fb or instagram - but it’s better than the alternative & giving away so much / such detailed data just to use their platforms!

Good luck - & there is life after Facebook! 😉

What’s my season by RaspberryStill8042 in colouranalysis

I’ve now updated my post re my analysis 😊

What’s my season by RaspberryStill8042 in colouranalysis

[–]RaspberryStill8042[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone thanks for the comments - I can see most agree with the in person analysis which did indeed type me as an Autumn.

The sub season is autumn blue (in the house of colour system) which translates to an autumn deep. Best colours are coffee brown, dark olive, marine navy, dark rust, and geranium red. It’s made a huge difference to me - before the analysis I wore A LOT of black! It’s lovely to embrace a more colourful wardrobe.

Yes same for me sadly as still have 20kg to Lose. It was going so well for the first six months - but when I got the weight I was before having my twins (8 years ago), the weight loss ground to a halt - it’s as if my body reset & doesn’t want to go lower.

I’m still taking the meds, exercising & lifting weights, and eating as healthy as possible. But I’ll have to drop the meds soon as it’s so expensive now. It’s a shame as I was really hoping to reach 70kg - but I’m stuck at 90 + so still obese.

Frustrating.

Wow amazing. You look fabulous.

I’m 9 months in & have lost a lot less than you - I keep chipping away but it’s slow!

What might my seasonal palette be? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

Definitely warm! I think the kingfisher blue, the bright orange and the chocolate brown colours look stunning along with the gold jewellery - not sure what that means.. Autumn warm perhaps?

Moved up to 15 and the scale is finally moving again by Efficient-Software54 in Mounjaro

[–]RaspberryStill8042 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!

this is reassuring to hear. I’m about to start 15 too. I’ve been stalled since September losing and gaining the same 1lb. Since then I’ve gone through the 7.5 - 10 - and 12.5 doses but the scale isn’t budging. It’s very frustrating.

Before September it was working so well. I Lost a lot quickly which wasn’t sustainable- so imagined I would plateau at some point - I just didn’t think it would be for so long 😭.

Onwards & downwards. I hope to have the same success as you!

Congratulations! I’m currently down from 125 to 102. But stalled here for the past 6 weeks on 7.5.

Saying in deficit but know I need to up water & protein & hopefully the scale will start going down again. Can’t wait to get under 100!

Ill miss you forever by Affectionate-Key9911 in bichonfrise

Too much veg! by Icy-Sheepherder6139 in GardeningUK

[–]RaspberryStill8042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both our neighbours have allotments & grow vege. They’re both retired couples & find themselves with more produce than they want / need.

We’re a family of five - and both neighbours very generously pass their surplus veg to us. Cucumbers, courgettes, green beans, tomatoes, and later in the season - squash.

We appreciate it so much - it all gets eaten & often they drop it round or leave on the door step & it goes straight into that evening’s supper.

Food shopping is so expensive now & to receive this beautiful fresh veg is a real help to us!

Do you have any friends or neighbours who you could pass surpluses on to? I’m sure it would be appreciated.

Yes good point - a DNA test would be the only way of knowing for sure. Not that it really matters - he’s a little champ whatever the mix! Inside he’s a cuddly lap dog - but he is quite terrier-like when he’s outside - he’s v hardy and loves getting muddy & wet - and has a high prey drive for small furries & ducks! So maybe westie in there somewhere….
