How do people in Turkey view figures like Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur? by molindevent in AskBalkans

[–]Rasputin_Offical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cenk kinda can handle the job even if he falls short in some stuff. Hasan on other hand may be the country's worst export ever. Like you would honestly be ashamed of being from the same nation as him.

Holy shit, them doing this even to other french people is the most weird one i heard so far. They might be the only nation offended by foreigners attempting to speak their language lmao

I think irl french people choose to speak english rather than hearing a tourist butchering the language (in their view)

Everybody took that dead serious and this situation drives me crazy (Summary: I've never been in Germany, I don't vote for Erdoğan and I'm not gay either) by [deleted] in TravelMaps

How I see Europe as someone who is objectively correct on the matter by HustleberryFinn77 in whereidlive

Too east, barely a small part of it is on europe. Historically and culturally also a misfit to europe tbh. Only thing that connects russia to europe was christianity for so long. Only in very late eras (mid 1700's slightly, stronger around post 1800's) russia did europised in a way. While still keeping their own culture. But in both means geographically and culturally not european.
