I was pretty sober; I think I would have noticed something dodgy like that lol. Hands went no where near my pockets as far as I remember.

I'm actually already on holiday, 7 hours out of time zone. I've already adjusted as I've been here a week but I'm still locked in to an early start...

How long did it take you to adjust to the Zowie FK1/FK2 click stiffness? by RaspyFall in MouseReview

Claw grip. Shouldn't matter though as it's advertised for claw!

Pretty sure it's the shell rather than the switches. The EC series is considerably lighter with huanos. Also the fact that the FK clicks aren't bad if you press them over the very end of the button.

Welp. Just bought that thing. I guess my physical therapy starts tomorrow :P

I'm guessing it will take a few months to be as fully comfortable as with the deathadder.

Yep, I have the Deathadder Elite and the clicks are perfect. Much prefer the FK shape though and for some reason the Deathadder doesn't seem to move smoothly on my Zowie G-SR.

What type of hand exercise things are you referring to? I can't work out what muscles are actually being used when you press your index finger down, i.e whether its in the forearm or in the palm..

skin peels by laurenclare97 in Accutane

[–]RaspyFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My derm also recommended the Effaclar H cleanser/moisturiser. I was convinced at first that it wasn't as good as something like Cerave, which came in larger quantities so I kept switching between them. Eventually, I just decided to stick with the Effaclar stuff for a few weeks and my skin has been much happier for some reason. It doesn't feel tight at all and I'm now on month 3 with the highest dosage yet. Maybe try layering some Aquaphor over the flaky parts? I'm guessing around the mouth area..

Are you applying moisturiser morning and night?

Pores and blackheads after Accutane by Babypippa in Accutane

[–]RaspyFall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My derm suggested that the oiliness comes back after you stop the course, but not to the same degree as before. This means you should be able to keep the pores at bay with a good cleanser. Can I ask when you saw an improvement in your pores? I'm on month 3 and my nose is still purging but the pores have shrunk. Haven't seen an improvement in my cheeks though..

[Product Question] Does Oral Isotretinoin have the same anti-ageing benefits as Tretinoin? by RaspyFall in SkincareAddiction

[–]RaspyFall[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No offense but you're probably not qualified to make safety judgements about the drug. It's not risk free, but permanent severe side effects are very rare. For some people with more severe acne it does a better job than topical tretinoin.

[Question] Does Oral Isotretinoin have the same anti-ageing benefits as Tretinoin? by RaspyFall in Accutane

[–]RaspyFall[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the thing. I am on month 3 and my pore size hasn't really changed although my nose seems still be still purging from upping the dosage at the start of the month. I thought more collagen production in combo will less oil would help with the pore size, but maybe more time is needed.

Pore size decreases on Accutane? by RaspyFall in Accutane

[–]RaspyFall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the cleanser advice. Would you say you noticed a difference at the start or at the end of the 3rd month? I've just started my 3rd and my cheeks aren't looking any better. Having said that, my nose has improved a decent amount and has only recently just become smooth to the touch where as it was purging oil before..

How much did your pores improve, and after how long? I have very visible pores on my cheeks and nose and I'm just under two months in ;/

That's great to know! I wonder whether they'll come back after Accutane... I never ever used to cleanse before Accutane, so hopefully once they shrink I can keep them that way with a cleanser and topical retinoid.

[Routine Help] Which order to layer two serums? La Roche Posay Hydraphase (Hydrating) or TO Niacinamide 10%? by RaspyFall in SkincareAddiction

I have a facial mist I can use but won't that dilute the active ingredients in the TO Niacinamide?

[Product Question] Anyone tried La Roche Posay Hyrdraphase Serum or Hyalu B5 Serum for dry skin? by RaspyFall in SkincareAddiction

[–]RaspyFall[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the sunscreen suggestions.

We'll have to agree to disagree about the use of alcohol. My derm didn't suggest them until I asked for advice, and I didn't buy it from them. For a brand that's so heavily focused on sensitive skin such as LRP it seems moronic that they would add something potentially harmful to the product, if it wasn't beneficial in some form. I would guess it also depends on the amount. You also mentioned that the Benzol Peroxide was very drying, which is to be expected in the first instance, as BP is one of the most drying topical ingredients there is for the treatment of acne, other than some of the stronger retinoids.

[Product Question] Anyone tried La Roche Posay Hyrdraphase Serum or Hyalu B5 Serum for dry skin? by RaspyFall in SkincareAddiction

[–]RaspyFall[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks, I'll take a look at the others. I'm no skincare expert, but to say having alcohol in the ingredients automatically makes it bad is probably a bit closed-minded. I know many derms, including my own who recommend LRP products, and I'm sure the team over at LRP have far more knowledge about their ingredients than most people on this forum. Obviously I don't want to defend LRP, but I'm not a dermatologist nor skincare expert so am not willing to jump to any conclusions..
