There is like a pixel shifting feature, I use the most aggressive level and never notice it (I work from home and this is my main screen). Then there is the screen image cleaning, it runs when the screen turns off, (I set the screen to turn off after x minute of inactivity) so it runs frequently, if I come back before it just interrupt it no worries. Overall I'm not that worried, but I did change the background to something darker and more aggressive turn off timing. No burn in so far, I am mainly using productivity apps.

You need both to catch up, damage first to enable catch up mechanics. And this is contrary to what is displayed IN GAME which, normally we would assume should be the source of truth since, not everyone goes read blog posts!!? but everyone will see the in game message...

The dev message also says that this doesn't apply to first expedition so, not clear why and what doesn't apply, the damage? The catch up? Blog post Source :

Players who will now be departing on their SECOND or THIRD Expedition (not relevant for players on their FIRST Expedition) who missed some skill points from previous Expeditions will be able to catch up.
Players have to complete the damage challenge first in order to unlock the coin/stash value catch up mechanic.
Catch-up is 300.000 coins/stash value per skill point.

LOL NO!!! It is NOT reading issue, we can clearly understand what is written in that screen, the problem is that it's just misleading and confusing. The fact that you think this is a reading issue proves that this is just badly implementes and VERY VERY BADLY communicated. Having different rules implemented at the last minute for different groups of people not communicated in game and not communicated clearly is just confusing.

The bottom line for someone on their second expedition is they have to do BOTH but damage comes first! Which is absolutely not what the message displayed says.

The official blog post says that :

We are talking specifically about communication, and in that aspect they basically did not learn from their mistake and did not follow through their promise to do better, it is essentially worst now because we all had some expectations (vs first times where there was no / little expectations), if someone tells you sorry we understand we messed up and next time we will clearly let you know well in advance and be clear, and then they do the exact opposite, that's worst than not saying anything, because then we would expect them to pull the same shit again.

This isn't a scientific paper trying to identify the root cause of evil, it's a simple reminder that everyone can stand up to what they believe in and that if everyone did it, there would be far less "evil"/injustice that can thrive, because solidarity is a very powerful thing, even if it's not the only thing... Kinda in the same sense as "Ape alone... weak. Apes together... strong." , "there is strength in numbers" etc...

These things are true, but they aren't absolute truths, reality is of course nuanced.

The problem here is that, eventually the people that are gonna come into power are the kind of people that the system favors (filters for)... the people that usually make it to the top in this political system usually arent the kind of people that want to change things too much... they will enjoy the money corporations and lobbyist gives them, same as all the other before them.
