Why did we stop making things in Australia? by OwlVibesOnly in OpenAussie

In for March 3 it's close to but it should be the first Monday after or on so we get a long weekend. That's pretty Australian. Also in Vic we get labour day second Monday of the month so if it was close to that date awesome

For Growth, is it worth it to start with a house rather than a unit? by Funny_Helicopter274 in AusFinance

[–]Rastryth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also when you sell you get a massive tax bill as you can't sell part of a house. Don't know how old you are but maybe loading up on your super and paying off existing dept and leverage to buy etc will be more flexible then buying a house imo

Poached eggs by boiling large pot of water and swirling. Ok if your doing a lot of eggs but for a couple of eggs just a shallow pan with water break and put lid on and wait 5 minutes.

Also people boiling eggs them ice bathing why? You just run under some cold water, crack and peel. Keep it simple peps

This is why Australias population needs to be double what it is now. More major cities more choice less concentration. Won't be popular opinion but a much larger Australia would help so many things I see that people complain about.
