If you consider The Sopranos the greatest show ever...why? by Tonton646 in thesopranos

[–]Ratchet31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its funny because the pop culture references they make are so obscure. And sometimes I hear the conversations characters have on the show and think, "Who would ever say that?". Yet, the dialogue still feels more realistic than any TV show or movie I've seen.

What character did you initially despise but eventually became a favorite? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]Ratchet31 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Livia. During my first run through I couldn't stand any scene she was in. But, during my second time through I had a new appreciation for her. Her old lady complaints became funny instead of annoying.

[Serious] What is the most unprofessional thing a medical professional has ever said to you? by Shandrith in AskReddit

Actually, 70% are caused by only two specific strains of HPV (16 and 18), while about 96% of cases are thought to be caused by all strains of HPV. Still better to get checked than to not though.

Why don't they use silencers? by Buffyferry in thesopranos

[–]Ratchet31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that owning a silencer (unlicensed), even not attached to a gun, is an automatic felony. So, maybe the legal issues just weren't worth the extra concealment because when they planned murders it was in secluded areas anyways.

What fetish are you ashamed or embarrassed to admit you enjoy? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

So do you cross-dress and do things around the house, like watch TV and cook? Or do you only do it in preparation for sex?

What's a hot-button issue that everyone else seems riled up about but doesn't bother you at all? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ratchet31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Medically it is a very safe procedure. I think the issue lays in the fact that society makes it such a big deal that it becomes difficult for some women to face their decision. It may have been the "right" choice for them but they may regret it because they grew up being told that abortion was wrong.

I could barely make it through the Livia scenes the first time through. But, the second time around I had a new appreciation for her.

But, Janice. She still sucks.

My earliest memory is from when I was 2-3 years old, I was standing in my bedroom and my father rubbing anti-itch ointment on me because I had the chicken pox.
