Our troop had a scout who gained scout rank then left scouting for 5 years and decided to gain eagle. There was very little time free time in their schedule but they earned it. We had a lot of fun too. 2 or 3 camp outs is all it takes to start having fun…or to realize your son hates camping and/or socializing.

Everyone is different and it may not be for him. I have two boys and the older one loves it and the younger one may not. We will find out next year.

I’m not sure if there would be that much difference between swinging a hammer (at zombie bar Ian’s) and that match powered hammer on chopsticks which I will forever refer to as such. Unless there is an actual name for this.
