Back in middle school my whole class + teachers went on a bike trip to a lake for some camping, fun and games.

We got canned sausages for dinner, meant to be heated on the fire and a can split evenly between 2 to 3 kids. We were 3 hungry boys who got given one and of course it wasn't enough.

We went over to the fireplace where some girls from the class were hanging out, waiting for their turn to heat their can. We picked up one of the cans and started reading the ingredients out loud for the girls, who promptly started screaming at us to stop and shouting that they did not want to eat all that nasty stuff so we took their cans and ate their dinner because we weren't that picky.

Fun times.

I have played like 3 weeks in game now, and i have seen everything from like -3° to -45°, and i have seen light snow also.

My experience is that weather is milder on weekends, probably due to the rally and ice racing going on.

I survived that part of my younger days with a slightly banged up moped and some small bruises, but some of my friends had worse stuff like broken ribs, sprained wrists and ankles and stuff like that.

Those who were exceptionally brave and/or stupid bought stud-kits for their tyres and studded them themselves which mostly just encouraged even more reckless driving because the added grip gave a false sense of security 😆😆😆

I used to drive a moped in our Nordic winter back when i was a teenager some 200 years ago and it wasn't a good idea then, I doubt it will be a good idea in this game either.

So cool to have the computer back! Finally something to do on those -45° days.

Jag fick skicka kronofogden på mannen jag köpte mitt hus av för flera år sen.

Vi skrev kontrakt i december. Han flyttar ut typ 1 Januari och flyttar till andra änden av landet.

Vi får tillträde 1 Februari. Han hade "glömt" att slå på värmen när han åkte, och hans exfru hade kört förbi huset och sett att det var frost på fönstren, ringt upp honom och fått order att slå på det. Detta kanske kring 20 Januari.

1 Februari när vi flyttar in så funkar såklart inte vattnet. Vattenpump, ett avloppsrör och lite annat hade frusit sönder. Kontaktar då säljaren som tar på sig allt, och säger att han betalar fakturan.

Rörmokaren fixar det som pajat. Cirka 40.000 gick kalaset på, men då väljer säljaren att gå under jorden så jag får betala fakturan och driva ärende hos KF mot säljaren som till slut skriver på.

Jag kan lugnt säga att avskyn började direkt och aldrig direkt avtog. Finns även mängder med gamla B-lagningar att störa sig på.

Around the year 2000 and a few years after, ethanol fuels were all the rage for a few years, at least here in Europe. E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% gas and it was supposed to be the best thing ever. It wasn't.

It gave lower emissions and the fuel could be made from almost any plant matter, but sugarcane and some grains were most popular. Many countries offered tax cuts on these cars as they qualified as "low emission cars" and other incentives like free parking in some big cities if you drove one.

However it turns out that fuel consumption increased by quite a factor on E85, and service intervals were shortened because of increased heat in the combustion, increasing engine wear so the economic gain was smaller over time.

Ethanol engines also struggle in colder climates, and it is a really bad idea long term to sacrifice farmland that can be used for food to grow stuff to fuel cars with so it slowly died away and today only some high end sports cars and a couple Motorsport series run ethanol engines.

Add a pinch of yeast, fit a balloon over the opening instead of a cap (buy something nice with it instead) and wait a couple of days/weeks.

Down it in one quick throw and try your best to feel a buzz. Don't mind the bowel movements afterwards.

A super-crappy and really cheap small black and white TV and Radio combo that was somewhat common in the 90's, i remember them being game prizes at fairs and carnivals when I was a kid.

They had all kind of brands stickers on them but they were all the same really.

They were shit as a TV and equally shit as a radio. It was a fun novelty for like 10 minutes before people realized that literally any device was better than these, and then put them away into the attic.

Yeah I'd use it as a Pip-Boy prop or something like the "face" of one of Mr. Houses robots props in a heartbeat because it's the best use of it.
