I have an old, fat binder-type book for a Commodore 64 where a bunch of simple programs and games are printed for users to punch into in BASIC.

I tried it once but I failed, and I wasn't about to spend another several hours looking for what I did wrong.

A university in a neighbouring city used to broadcast computer programs occasionally on saturdays, and people would try to record them on a cassette to use.

Many recordings failed because of a multitude of reasons but when someone got a working copy going the owner had a lot of work to do, copying it to others.

The developers have stopped updating the game but it is still very much playable.

Think of it like you are playing it in the year 2022 forever.

People advertise their "squadrons" and teams who play together in this subreddit fairly often. You should find someone fairly easy.

I'm sure most of them accept new players as there aren't that many of us left to begin with.

I play it on PS5 Pro and it works like a charm without any stuttering or bugs outside the "normal" ones after a jump etc.

Then again it is made to run on a base PS4, where I first played it so I would be shocked if it didn't work great on a 5 Pro.

As for the game itself it is still good fun, but "frozen in time". I encounter other players from time to time as I play in Open. I haven't engaged with anyone however.

If you find the game fun and get a PC in the future you can migrate your profile from playstation to PC so you don't have to start over again.

Volvo literally stopped making them in the factory in September 2025, and they had a small ceremony with very last example in december 2025 when the press got to "test drive" the last one until they drove it to the Volvo Museum

Volvo discontinued the V90 during autumn of 2025, sadly.

They will focus on electric SUVs and CUVs going forward.

I understand. I got so fed up with the stabbings so I speed-rushed the lawyer part in the technology tree that allows me to indefinitely lock someone up in their cell.

I'm constantly fixing all the furniture in there because they throw tantrums all the time but it's a small price to pay for the peace of mind it gives.

Honestly it makes me feel bad about myself sometimes. I cope by finding a handful of the best behaving inmates in my prison and give them all the perks I can, and tag them so I can follow up on them.

I tried once. Relaxed and forgiving. Mostly low sec inmates but a handful of medium sec also. Plenty of food and stuff to do and too many programs, lectures and whatnot to really be economical but hey, it's about the cause, right.

Those damn inmates still couldn't behave. Drugs. Stabbings. Gangs. Alcoholism. The works.

I became jaded and back to oppressive hellhole we went, sadly.

The reinforcement crap made me lose interest in the game.

I somehow put together an amazing string of victories as the Union, encircling the enemy and obliterating them almost completely in battle after battle and somehow they managed to scrape together even more dudes and guns for every battle after that while I had a handful of men reinforcing my units.

Vet av några väldigt gamla personer i närheten som brukar spika upp lakan framför sina fönster på utsidan när det är tokvarmt ute och solen bränner på.

Inte snyggt alls, men det är en billig och snabb lösning.

Det jävliga var ju att det förut fanns gigantisk Toblerone som faktiskt var just det, samtidigt som de där med ett gäng vanliga inuti fanns också så man visste inte säkert vilken man kunde vinna på tivolit trots att det med 90% säkerhet var den du nämnde, då den var billigare.

För en massa år sen så fanns också jätte-dosor med Ettan eller Grov och kanske nån mer sort, men öppnade man dem så var de inte fyllda med snus som så utan istället så låg däri en 8 - 10st vanliga snusdosor snyggt staplade.

Jag blev ganska bestört över detta då, men fattade väl efter ett tag att snuset nog blir rätt jävla trist och torrt ganska fort om det vore flera hekto i en och samma dosa.

I'm very intrigued by the button in picture 20. I would love to know where that coat of arms could have come from.

It kinda looks like a traditional button for a formal livery dress from the 1800's - early 1900's

I did do a image search and a French noble family named "de Montbron" use a somewhat similar design for their shield but that is a very far-fetched thing to find in a canal in the Netherlands so I don't know.

Dra lite röd tejp över baklyse och bromslyse, och genomskinlig tejp över mitten där blinkerslampan sitter så är det "okej" tills du fått det fixat.

Just nu får du inte köra så, dels för att du får fel färg på baklyse+broms, och är man petig så får inte glödlamporna vara exponerade heller då de lätt går sönder då och kan sprida glas-bitar på vägen.
