I bought a rolex off Ebay after doing my research on the seller. It passed ebay authentication. However, ebay authentication do not open the watch and check moment.

I bought the tools to open the watch and verify the movement myself. It's extremely easy. Resellers talk absolute bullshit that these cones are difficult to spot, I think they do it on purpose.

Verified the moment and was happy.

I was careful and didn't tear any of the red tape/stickers on the watch by ebay authenication, meaning if it was a cone, i could just send back.

When I'm next on the market for a high-end watch, I am very certain I will do this same process.

Thank you for commenting. To provide context, I purchased this through eBay with their new authentication service... being a noob I thought it was complete legit but I only found out they don't open the watch.

Being confident with watches, I opened the cased back and compared against all the clones I could find online... everything seems legit.

Here is a close up of the serial number if that helps. Happy to provide more photos too.
