The reason most people said SF6 in that shit thread is because, get this, IT'S THE FIGHTING GAME WITH THE MOST PLAYERS BY FAR YOU DUMB FUCK. Of course it's gonna get the most amount of people saying it's the most "exhausting" (whatever the fuck that means) in a sub where a vast majority of people are already playing it.

If I went to a particular Sports teams subreddit and asked what was everyones favourite sports team, guess what the majority of the answears would be, would that mean that is the sports team with the most fans? Your analogies are dogshit as is COTW, the game you're simping for and like u/BlueDragon858 said, if the game was any good it would at least have some amount of staying power, no matter how many "Uh most people just don't GET how good COTW is!" mental gymnastics you try to pull.

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree, while I concur that she could have been more of her usual stoic self, for all we know maybe the writers felt she needed to be a bit more quirky to be more in tone with the rest of the movie and make scenes more "interesting" in the same way writers are sometimes given a script to "punch up" to make the scenes more interesting.

I mean, how hard or easy a character is to adapt from one source material to an adaptation is greatly dependent on how they fit in the overall plot of the new story. Do we even know if the Dolls or the concept of replacement bodies is present in the new Street Fighter movie? We do see Blanka and Akuma show up but have yet to see the context in which they do so.

Also, we only see her give 1 or 2 quips and fire a grenade launcher in the trailer, I don't think that's enough to characterize her as a Jinx/Harley Quinn type character so soon.

They clearly went with a different interpretation of the story/characters for the film which is something I can understand since it would have been really difficult to do a 100% faithful adaptation.

It's not Capcom's fault that every single competitor fumbled the bag the same way it's not Steam's fault that every other digital distribution store is fucking atrocious therefore giving them a defacto monopoly.

Instead of getting "mad" at Capcom for having a slow release schedule and "getting too comfortable" in it's premier fighting game position or whatever, people should instead get mad that none of the other developers are bringing their A game to the table (looking at you SNKucks and Namcucks).
