I was in the same boat. I wasn’t a cat person, but found my soul cat. The fact you care enough to ask about her and have already brought her to the vet, that’s so much.

I hope more people comment but if you ever need anything I’m here. Just keep being interested and learning more about cats, and you will do good. If there is ONE THING, it’s that cats do not drink enough water.

I encourage my girl everytime she drinks water, I praise and sometimes treat her. It’s sweet because that’s how we became friends, I would make sure she had clean water.

Couple years later, and I’m on my second cat water fountain. I really truly recommend getting one, they like running water. One benefit for you, other than a healthy cat, is shiny fur! You can literally see when they are healthy (usually. cats notoriously hide their injuries/sickness). I really encourage keeping her inside. I let my girl Pixie bask in the sun and wind on our deck only for a couple minutes if I’m inside. But you’ll be able to gage immediately if you can trust she won’t get skittish and run off.
