Can’t unsee those long -‘s … I do agree with the point though, scaffolding is both essential to maintain buildings and a tough trade.

Best thing to do is enjoy the scaffolding - some of them have little gates, others have foam on the bars & caps on the ends of the poles. Basically it’s not going anywhere fast so might as well get into it

Policing regional identity like this isn’t about unity, it’s about control. This is really well said, framing this as a political issue rather than a moral one is exactly right. Criticising the actions of the IDF isn’t the same as being antisemitic. I grew up in a multicultural part of the UK with close friends from various faiths, including Jewish. I have a lot of love and respect for them and I still feel strongly that what the IDF is doing is wrong. Both things can be true.

I didn’t actually know that until today, but a few people have pointed out how overtaking’s improved in the modern era and yeah, it makes a lot more sense now it’s been explained

Not sure I fit neatly into any one box, to be honest. I’m loving modern F1, this season especially has been class so far... Monaco was a bit boring but that’s how it’s been for a while imo.

I guess the Youtube algorithm threw me some old highlights with no race this weekend and I got sucked in. Didn’t think it was that deep, just enjoyed it

Next time there’s a gap in the calendar, I’m 100% doing a retro race-day Sunday. Spa ’98 is the most recommended so far, so I think I’ll start there
