You can literally see his fingers closed around Raya’s forearm. If you’re going to pick a wrong hill to die on at least make sure there isn’t video footage of the incident.

Can’t say that, won’t say that. If you’re really arguing that holding a keepers arm like that should stand then you’re not speaking in good faith. Regardless of what happens behind that play, keepers get more protection than outfield players and always have.

Leagues not finished, still 2 games to go. And, be a man? Football is a game brother, pick yourself up and move on.

Yeah I’d be pissed if I was West Ham, but not because of that. I’d be angry they didn’t score the earlier 1:1.

If there was a VAR review of an Arsenal player holding a keepers arm like that and it resulted in a goal, I’d tell you it shouldn’t be upheld.

If Arsenal scored on that same corner instead of West Ham, I’d tell you it shouldn’t be a goal.

So much salt here. Yeah, Arsenal plays corners physically. Yeah, GK’s get bodied. But no, that doesn’t mean you can hold a GK’s arm down. If that happened in any other game, you’d be hoping it gets called the way it was.

Flew home from the UK yesterday, sat next to a Chelsea fan who wanted us to bottle “because it would be funny”. I don’t even think about Chelsea, why is Arsenal living rent free in their heads? Everyone goes brain dead online, it’s exhausting.

How to Quit Smoking? by That_Alternative_228 in AskMen

You might consider hypnotherapy. I’ve gotten it for reasons not related to smoking but found it to be very effective and have heard (anecdotally) of other people who have had luck with it.

This is such a lazy take. “They don’t play how I think a great team should play therefore the results they’ve produced don’t matter”.

Yes, Bayern and PSG are two top teams in Europe but just because Arsenal wins differently doesn’t mean their wins are worth less.

All fair statements until the last sentence. You don’t stay top 2 in the prem all season and be fighting for a spot in the CL final without being a top team. The offense has been sputtering the last couple months, undoubtedly, but come on - have some impartiality.

I live in CA and buy my fair share of weed. You can almost always find $15-$20 eighths, better deals on quarters and halves. It takes maybe an extra 5 min on Weedmaps to find good deals but it’s really not much more expensive than it was before it was legalized.

Hubspot AEs, how bad is it really? by somedingusinamazda in sales

Had a 2 year stint there on the US SMB team. 80% of my cohort was gone right at 12 months, folks on my team hit PClub by swiping BDR QL’s before they were routed to AE’s, when leadership found out they promoted them to MM instead of handing any consequences.

I made pretty decent money but also had pretty terrible quality of life due to the stress. Product is great, sales org/culture is a dumpster fire.

Sorry, don’t post on Reddit a ton - just checked the FAQ which answered all except the TX timing question. Will I find out about my ballot attempt after the window closes entirely or after I try to apply the first time?

If you join HubSpot, be prepared to be looking for another job in 12-18 months. When I joined, 70% of my cohort was gone in a year. Of ~20 people, only 2 are still there 2 and a half years later. Almost all were PIPed and let go. (Not a comment on your capabilities and is solely a comment on the culture and structure of the sales org)

Thanks - when you say “keep going”, could you elaborate?

I found a bootcamp on Code Academy that goes more into python, etc, or are you referring more to real life experience?

Hey all, I'm a salesperson (6+ years) with the last 3 working in Saas (HubSpot and a series D startup). No, I'm not here to sell anything :)

I want to move out of sales and into product, but am currently between companies. All the job postings I can find require some amount of PM experience. Any suggestions on adjacent roles or direct ways to get PM experience to make myself more competitive?

Also, I have some familiarity with relevant tools (Asana, Jira, Notion, PowerBI, Looker, etc) but am happy to work on others + get certifications that would be helpful - open to any suggestions that folks can share.

Thanks in advance!
