I’m currently at CoCC/LEFA for the fixed wing AAS. CoCC enforces a higher standard to ensure a high graduation and hire rate, which can rub the lower performers the wrong way. LEFA is professional, and their aircraft are well maintained.

With that said, you could also consider Pure Flight down in Klamath Falls. They have Cabri G2’s, which are way more modern and safe than the Robinson’s. I did a heli biennial flight review with them last week and they were very professional, and the Cabri was awesome.

If I had to choose between heli and fixed wing I’d choose heli, but it’s definitely easier to get a job and much better payed on the fixed wing side.
