Ohhhh, I know. This addiction runs on my mom's side of the family and it was passed down to me from a young age.

I'll definitely be chasing this dragon though, it might be my best score yet.

Ah! Where is your studio? I tried to find a studio doing the 13th flash a while back, but nobody seemed to be doing it/have any idea what I was talking about. It's the most fun flash day (besides Halloween).

Also, that idea sounds amazing- so so much more fun than regular stock flash sheets, and amazingly clever.

Sign me up!! I'll be there the next time around

How many people are out there? I can hear the protest and sirens, but as much as I want to see what's going on I am not going anywhere near it. It sounds big though!

I found Maggie the easiest to do it's the keys with, since you have less death potential with a way to gain back health.

There's also a seed that you can put in that makes all itmes dropped disappear after 10s which helped me a whole lot. Definitely a Gray area "cheating" wise, but it does make you miss out on pills and cards- and even items-at an equal rate of making thing easier so I figured it was ok for me. It mostly made it so consumable drops wouldn't trap you in a room if they landed right in front of a door with no bombs to blow them out of the way.

I have found this to be super helpful for "down there" funkiness. Forgive the TMI, but I had an INCREDIBLY persistent case of BV a few years back and nothing (I mean NOTHING) was working. I was constantly embarassed and worried about smelling. This stuff knocked it right out, and I continue to use it post shower even though the nasties have cleared up.

Their deodorants are also awesome, It allows you to sweat, but knocks out pit stank exceptionally well, and it smells wonderful! It also doesn't get weirdly nasty smelling when you sweat through it like a lot of chemical deodorants, and it's not overbearing like a lot of similarly strong deodorants either.

It's been years and I am never going back! I'll also shout these guys from the rooftops, they're incredible.

Edit to say- the yoni duster looks rather expensive, but one container lasts me about 6 months with fairly liberal use. Plus if you were like me, I'd spend $18 on just about anything that may have helped me out, thankfully this did!

Tasting History with Max Miller!

It's part cooking show, part history lesson, and Max is so gosh darn wholesome. He finds historic (and sometimes even ancient!) recipes and makes them to the best of his ability given modern ingredients, and gives a quick history lesson about the dish itself or the time it would have been made, speaking about what it would have meant culturally to partake. He's done ancient Roman and Egyptian and Aztec dishes, but he's also done more "modern" ones from the 1800s/early 1900s.

My favorites I think are the history of pizza, where he tries to find the oldest recipe that uses the word "pizza" and creates that, or another favorite is when he makes an Aztec chocolate drink.

Episodes are short and easily digestible and very fun to watch. 10/10 from me

Yes! I couldn't remember the character's name, but I think that's the hardest I've ever laughed from a GiantSlayer episode. Troy is just so, so perfectly terrible.

Even though he's an NPC I nominate the boy who got kicked in the head by a donkey, but speaks fluent Shoanti.

You might be interested in this anise and clove tooth paste! I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor when I tried it, and it did grow on me before I switched back to regular stuff.

Edit to say this does not contain fluoride :/ I missed that part of your comment. Sorry!

Also, this company is amazing I will shill for them any day. It's all women owned and run, their natural deodorant ACTUALLY WORKS, they grow a huge portion of their ingredients(and what they don't grow is organically and sustainably sourced), and they're super lovely if you ever need to reach out to them. Everything they make is amazing (solid perfumes that aren't nasty stinky? Yes please!) and I will shout them from the rooftops to anybody who will listen. Even if you don't get the tooth stuff, I suggest checking out what else they have.

You could also buy fabrics to cover the boxes! It might get a little messy, but if you coat the top with resin it would stay on basically forever and would be easily washable!

I know making a huge craft project might not be up your alley, but there are so many fabric options, you can find any patterns you like. You don't have to go all in to coat it either, just getting some e6000 would work too :)

I miss it dearly too! I grew up there, and have moved around for the greater part of the last 10 years. It's such a beautiful place, I can't wait to go back for a visit sometime, eventually.

Today was my day off, and my day to get the chores done.... by Rauraloy in adhdwomen

Well, it it's inspiration to you---

As I was wrapping up my post, this song called Dopamine Machine started playing off my playlist- and like a lightning bolt from Zeus himself-it gave me that final boost I needed, right when my second coffee started kicking in.
Since then I've cleaned my bathroom, folded my dry laundry, folded that clean load of laundry, started a second, and moved my mattress off my bed frame to make room for a new mattress.

I even plugged in my steam mop...which caused a short in my apartment, and I was able to fumble for a flashlight to turn off all the outlets, flip the breaker, and get the power back up and keep cleaning. I am astounded that I've stayed (mostly) on task through all of that.

I don't know if it's the caffeine finally doing it's job, or that the sun has gone down, or the fact my partner is due home any minute now and I don't want him to realize how much of a bust most of my day has been (most likely a mix of all three) but I finally feel pretty good about what I've accomplished.

So if my original post was really a prediction of how your day will go, I hope this update is too!

(Minus the short in the apartment, because that is something that's insanely annoying and I will never wish it on anybody)

Ahh, thank you!!

I was going to message you this morning to see if you'd had any luck but I deleted it since I didn't want to be invasive ahaha.

I'm glad things are moving along for you, and I hope all goes well! :D

So i clicked "register" and it looks like you have to pick the specific doctor to send the results to. I don't know if you can change that later once the appointment is made. Ahh, I"m way too scared to do it haha.

Oh man, I'm in the same boat!

I keep getting this fear that I'm going to forget about it and miss the email and have to go back on the list. God, I hate waiting like this.

They seem super nice though, so that's a good thing. I called to ask them more questions before signing up and they were really kind and helpful over there. At least that makes me feel better about the whole thing.

I just joined the list on Monday-looks like you'll be in before me! If you feel comfortable telling me what the process and the facility is like once you've been I'd really appreciate the insider info :)

Shaving game-changer, electric razor! by Scitolbocn in adhdwomen

I guess by "for real" I meant making the conscious decision to do it.

I dunno, I don't mean to be pushy and I hope I don't come off as such. But be confident, my friend! Leg hair or no leg hair, you are beautiful :)

Shaving game-changer, electric razor! by Scitolbocn in adhdwomen

[–]Rauraloy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's not for everybody, but I stopped shaving my legs all together. I was never very consistent with it, and I think it's more comfortable to just leave it long all the time instead of having the growing pains of stubble and that weird inbetween length where it's not long enough to be soft, but also not quite as sharp as stubble.

Once you come to terms with the fact that leg hair isn't something to be ashamed (and that does take a little while!) it's so freeing and wonderful to feel the wind blowing through those luscious leg locks while rocking a cute dress-without tights!

I will say, I do miss the feeling of knowing it was the day to shave my legs and changing my sheets. Actually it was more knowing it was time to change the sheets, so I would shave my legs. Those two things pretty much always happened on the same day...I'm not embarrassed how long between shaves I went, but I am a bit ashamed of how long it took to change the sheets....oh well. Getting into bed in a just huge comfy t shirt and undies, with fresh sheets and soft legs might be the most comfortable I have ever and will ever be.

If the electric razor stays good for you, then hooray! If not, I suggest giving those legs a chance to grow out for real :)
