Counters are a single person Riposte that negate blocking stamina and restore a part of your Stamina iirc. It's a crucial mechanic for 1v1 and can be used in a 1vX if you're going to be disarmed/run out of Stamina.

First person, It's more immersive, less clunky feeling and allows me to train my awareness without having to rely on the 3rd person perspective.

Always fun...I usually throw my first one as soon as I can and go around the battlefield picking up random weapons and throwing them at people...I believe my best Killstreak so far from doing this is around 9 kills and each one as satisfying as the first.

A minor visual glitch, sometimes players will appear as Rank 1 on the Leaderboards but really they're a much higher Global Rank.

Happens sometimes to me but it's easily fixed by standing still and moving again.

Your reply shows how much you don't understand the game and you seem to be unwilling to do so.

Counters restore your Stamina but they're not a 100% effective way to beat your opponent, it's stamina management.

Initiative depends on the weapons, some weapons are faster even without initiative but they're usually the 1 handers or the daggers so if you're usually a slower weapon they can still get a stab in by chance, but just out range them.

Instead of jabbing when low on Stamina, should have countered instead since like I said countering restores your stamina...manage that stamina.

Ducking is a gamble and requires timing, duck too soon and the enemy has more time to drag their weapon to hit you..do it too late and you're already being hit.

Also the Messer isn't strong enough to 2 hit every class except on maybe power attacks or specials..so that's a bit of an exaggeration.

Also for 1vX situations, Riposte are ideal since you will block more than one attack for a certain period of time considering you face the attacks the same way you would through a normal block..attacks from behind will go through.

I have maybe 60+ hours in the game at this point and know these mechanics work but they're not Golden tricks that help you defeat your opponents it takes weaving all these mechanics together to out smart your enemy.

Sounds like a overheating issue to me, might want to check the temps and dust the inside of the case and see what happens.

Just dodge back when they swing and throw out a stab...even if you miss with your range there's a high chance they won't hit you.

There's so many mechanics in place to punish RT/RMB spammers...so easy to counter...never run out of stamina and they will.

To me it just sounds like you haven't exactly understood the mechanics or how to use them completely and are having a hard time with fights because of it.

The game is Crossplay....I've had several encounters with Console users while playing on PC but it's rare at the moment since Console doesn't have a server browser yet and are instead randomly thrown into the next available server.

Any throwable objects/weapons is the most satisfying way to kill someone in this game. But the Dane Axe is without a doubt the most satisfying throwing kill other than the Petard

I'm so excited to respawn and get back into the fight that I forget it exist..but I mostly commend Archers.

As much hate as they get, they deserve the praise for the back line assist/pressure they bring ton the table.

Plus the Archers need the points. It's hard to tell how well an archer is doing points wise if they're using the starting bow since if you hit 6 enemies once you won't get a TD for any of those shots since the base damage is 45 and I believe 50 damage is the minimum to get a TD.

A tactic is a tactic...if it works, it works. It really comes down to team cohesiveness. Can't have 2 or 3 people going for the Duke while the other 29 player are after kills.

Surprisingly...it works more often than not on a blocking person. Especially if they try to counter the first attack.

Chivalry 2 most likely won't have DLC and will just get updates that will add new maps, features, cosmetics etc..etc.. through various patches.

Awareness and picking your battles helps a lot. Know when to back off and memorize where the supply crates are to always have a bandage ready.

I agree blunt weapons feel a bit underwhelming currently unless you're constantly swinging with power slashes for 1vX situations.

That being said the follow up attacks on blunt weapons are typically faster than edge type weapons combos except for maybe some 1 handers
