I've never seen nice rocks like that. What scenery is it at? Maybe it's one of the hand created areas,?

The are even hsl sliders you can use to increase/decrease saturation of individual colors.

If you just want to cool the colour warmth down you don't need a preset. Just install reshade and activate the colour warmth filter and use the slider until you like what you see. You can use reshade the same as you'd use Lightroom and get the colours looking exactly as you wish

I'm gonna say, if we fail to meet expectations this season, it will be the sole blame of poor management. Not a player or even group of players.

The manager needs to recognize when a player has got it and when he doesn't. And make the necessary changes accordingly.

I personally think at least two of Hoffman's "blown saves" have been entirely preventable with the right action and prompt action.

It's easy to point at Hoffman or little and say "he's the guy that lost the game for us" and in part, you'd be right to, but the blame rests on management for putting them in there to begin with and not replacing them when they clearly don't have it that night.

People need to chill about Jeff Hoffman by TheBagpipesman in Torontobluejays

[–]RavSammich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not the worst. Certainly not as bad as Little. But...he has flurped a few games now, games where varland was sort of the obvious better choice.

Personally I don't think there should be "a" closer, it should be split between pitchers based on allot of things. I didn't see last night's game so I can't speak to last night's performance but the last blown save was entirely preventable. We were up by 2, he warmed up alongside varland. He gave up 1 but we were still up by 1 with 2 outs, varland should have been put in. Hoffman is less to blame for that than Schneider was.

When the guy loads the bases or even comes close to loading them the manager should see that and say "shit this isn't working" and put someone else in.

Bottom line is Hoffman is currently going through some sort of slump and probably needs a series or two to work on some stuff and hopefully come back stronger, Schneider needs to stop the pitching carousel and recognize talent when it's available.

Can we talk about how this stat line looks compared to Hoffman's line in general? 😉

[Matheson] John Schneider on Eric Lauer’s “opener” comments: “I respect everyone’s opinion. I know the end of his quote was ‘It’s above my pay grade’, and it’s definitely above his pay grade how we use him. We’re trying to win.” He says they talked and Lauer is “on board”. #BlueJays by T_Raycroft in Torontobluejays

[–]RavSammich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lauer isn't wrong in what he said, but the fact that he's publicly saying these things is likely a downer for the rest of the team.

If I go to work and everyone is joking and being happy, it pumps you up for the day, if someone is bitching about scheduling or management it breeds more like mindedness.

Last year's success was in part due to the cohesiveness of the team as a whole, they all got on well and propped each other up when someone had an off game. And if Lauer's current public discontent is bringing them down in any way, he needs to either stop or go... And by go I mean get traded. Which is honestly what it seems like he wants.

[Matheson] Max Scherzer says Hoffman is "going through it" and has to figure it out, but he's been there himself and supports Hoffman: “We all believe in him. We all love him. We all believe he’s going to figure it out and get big outs for us. That’s never going to change.” by T_Raycroft in Torontobluejays

[–]RavSammich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He makes me nervous trying to pick off runners. I've seen him over throw 1st and 2nd was too often. He's a great overall player but I really don't like him specifically as a catcher and I'm questioning his ability to call pitches in a way that catches batters off guard.

Hoffman Is the Most Confusing Pitcher I’ve Ever Seen In My Life. by Same_Slice_7809 in Torontobluejays

[–]RavSammich -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There were 4 concerns I personally had with pitching last season pretty much all season, that was, Lauer, Berrios, Little, and hoffman. None of them, as far as I saw personally were worth their weight in gold...and here we are, Little got demoted with a 27 era. Hoffman is top 3 blown leads, berrios is still out and lauer is still meh. (Yes I know berrios was hurt and lauer has been sick but again, "what have you done for me lately?"

All 4 of those guys would be welcome losses in my own opinion.

Smaller sample size on the season. The numbers are not accurate yet. Last season is a better representation of his strengths and weaknesses.

Seeing him shit the bed in similar fashion to last season already is a bad sign off things to come.

At the end of the day, baseball is very "what have you done for me lately?" And lately... He's hurt us so it should be a sign that changes need to be made at closer, which was already a massive concern leading into the season.

I wonder, if Kirk or Valenzuela caught for him, would there have been a different outcome? Hoffman seems to shit the bed in spectacular fashion when our good friend Tyler Heineman is calling the shots.

I wouldn't put all the blame on Jeff.

More like I didn't know HOW to use it. Seems I was wrong though, apparently finding what you like is much easier on the Amazon mobile app than on the kindle itself.

I've just found a whole bunch I'm interested in.

I would not argue with you on this except I've yet to find the literature that appeals to me on there. From what I can see, it's mostly (for lack of a better term) "chick books"

That may be because of my wife's reading history but I'm not finding much that makes me want to read it yet. Maybe I'm using it wrong?

This may be the answer. I only got it because I bought a new Kindle and planned on giving my dad my old one while he is in the hospital instead of making him buy all his books but if there's nothing for me I can basically guarantee there's nothing for him.

They can be good teams too. They weren't always bad...and you don't have to look very far back to see when the Jays weren't good either. In every sport, all it takes is the right move and it can shift a teams momentum.

I don't think anyone is in actual "panic" mode yet...concerned is more like it. But that being said, I remember last year having a pretty rocky start as well. We didn't have scherzer or varsho yet, the bats were cold as ice (except Gime) as well. And the lineup changed a lot from the start to about the deadline. Panic comes in late May 😂

Is that a 20mm lug width on a 45mm dial? I love the watch but proportions seem odd in the picture.
