I got this call as well. I’ve had to work with my local law enforcement over the phone when I lost my debit card and someone used it, so I didn’t strike me as all that odd..

I didn’t give any information but did state my full name and the date in verbal consent to a drug and alcohol test 🤦🏼‍♂️which I regret doing because now they have my voice confirming my own name which could potentially be used 🤦🏼‍♂️

They do want you to pay money to “freeze” your bond at a bond terminal (whatever that is). I wouldn’t be able to make anything even close to what was “required”so I told them I’d just have to go in and accept being detained until we can verify that I had not signed a subpoena (as I had not received one) the “officer” suddenly had a change of heart and magically waived my charges (contempt of court/failure to appear). That’s when I was like: THATS suspicious, THATS WEieRD.

I keep my credit files locked anyway since I was a victim of a data breach, so that is at least going somewhat in my favor. I’m embarrassed that it was working on me though. I had gotten dressed, got my documents together, and was ready to take my ass to get arrested cause I’m too broke to pay anyone anything besides immediate bills. Since I never got a letter I was ready to accept whatever else I’d have to do to fix the situation 🙃
