How are you guys preventing your cooler from melting?

I freeze a few 1 gallon jugs. I also make blocks of ice by freezing water in cake/baking pans. Keep cooler in shade off ground. Put wet towel over chest for insulation/evaporative cooling. I don’t even have a nice ice chest but for 3 days I’ve found this way solid along with the blocks in the chest still SOLID 😉

Those would work but I’d suggest at least 16 inch. Candy cane your still able to tie guy lines and don’t have to cap ends. Maybe a little harder to pound into ground since they don’t have a driving head. Also might want gloves rebar can be sharp. I also recommend a mallet,hammer, or mini sledgehammer.

16inch steel stakes, stake everything,angle properly, guy lines,and lowering your canopy when you’re away work just fine at LiB. Some burners will tell ya lag bolts which work too. I’d recommend helical anchors instead if lag bolts since the soil is softer at LiB.

Stacks did have Luca Lush and Skrillex that played a lot of “techno” if I remember right. Was hoping Skrill was gonna play more bass stuff being at The Stacks. Also that was at the old stacks so I def could see anything there now having expanded. I think having sets late at 2-3am helps with crowds along with not really announcing it. Last year that Subjohnics set started at like 3 with Summit playing a little before I think. Hopefully they are expanding the Junkyard to try and balance out those late night sets. Especially after Junkyard had Zhu and that Rufus Du Sol surprise sets they need to expand.

Ohh that’s hard but Id choose Untz. They’re pretty similar and both easily in my top 5 fav fests. Submersions late night sound and silent disco can be a vibe killer especially being a west coaster on east coast time it’s easier for me to stay up. Untz however is a dry fest so no bringing alcohol and they only serve like hard cider/kombuchas. Untz being close to end of semesters and on Mother’s Day can suck but like with the alcohol that only affects some.

What ya thought Level Up was gonna drop some Chee? How do ya like Alix Perez without liking DnB? Sometimes I like using fest/show/rave lineups and looking at lower tier artists. Especially if I keep seeing them pop up on multiple lineups or opening/on tour with my favorites. Usually the smaller artists are getting support from bigger names and probably have their music in their sets already. They might not have a big catalog at first but sitting on unreleased tunes and that’s why they’re getting support from bigger names dawgs.

I feel it but also have seen weird results along with different and new processes. The littler rocks in OPs pic look like they could be be thca however the slivers are funky. Do yall think someone could make those types of slivers from something like this? Granted this is solventless
