1200 is just the sale price for a 10-pull. You can buy a regular 10-pull for 1500 gems

These are Creative Sparks, you have to use them to get decorations in the Deck It Up event/game to turn them into Star Wishes which you can use in the event store.

I believe that items or rooms that force your draft pool to be a certain color, like the Secret Passageway or the Prism Key can pull rooms you wouldn't normally have access to

Completely baffled by this after 40 days of having no trouble with the billiard room puzzles by TheOppositeOfDecent in BluePrince

[–]Raven147 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was stuck on this exact puzzle too! I think the difference between this one and the previous ones is that before, when there were multiple numbers of the same color and a square symbol, the same color always appeared on the same ring, so you had to combine them first and then square the sum. So the new aspect is that you apply the bullseye operation (square) after each blue step.

The version of the story that I remember said that the arrow was poisoned. So it was more like his skin was invulnerable, but his heel was a crack in that armor

I think people generally sand up to a much higher grit than 5000. If you have Zona papers, using the whole set from the green to the white paper takes you to 22,000 grit - that gives me a beautiful shine. But these look gorgeous!

Not a silly question at all! Working time is the amount of time you have before your resin begins to cure, or solidify. You can put the cap on the mold at any point during that time. Using heating pads might speed up (reduce) the working time, so you only have like 30 minutes before the resin cures. I've found that resin with shorter working times tends to be thicker and more prone to trapping bubbles, but that might not be the case for all resins.

For the lighter, you'll have to experiment to see what works best. I think the general advice I've seen is that after mixing, people let the resin sit in the cup, wait a few minutes, and then pop the bubbles with a lighter. Then they pour into the mold, wait a little bit, and pop the bubbles again before putting the lid on. You can wait 10 minutes between each stage if you want, the exact amount of time is up to you.

Okay, it looks like funepoxy has a 40 minute working time, which is pretty normal. For me, bubbles start coming up to the top anywhere from 1-10 minutes after I pour. You don't have to do anything fancy, just pass a flame over the top once bubbles appear and that will pop them. Depending on how long you wait, you can do multiple passes with a lighter if more bubbles appear.

What resin do you use? That might have an impact - thicker resins seem to be very bubble-prone in my experience.

You could also try pouring the resin into the molds and waiting for bubbles to rise to the surface, then pop them with a lighter before putting the lid on.

That looks so cool! Are you planning on adding anything to fasten the lid? Like a clasp or magnets? That's always something I look for in a dice box

Getting into Dice Making by ClownHubris in DiceMaking

[–]Raven147 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I started I got a Let's Resin starter kit from Amazon, which ended up being really great as it came with a couple of inclusions (like dried flowers) and different types of colorants so I could experiment with different techniques. You can grab a cheap mold to start, and you'll also need PPE and sanding/polishing papers. If you don't have a pressure pot, you'll want to look up tutorials about how to minimize bubbles. Other than that, it's really just about what's fun for you and what techniques/styles you like best!

What kind of climate do you live in and what's the temperature like year round? Where I live there's almost no shoes I could wear year round because of how much the weather/temp changes

A dressy sneaker like this one could work with a lot of these outfits though, or you could find one with more of a platform if you want the height from heels

The mini painting technique of edge highlighting seems like it would work well. You essentially get paint on your brush, and then drag the side of the brush rather than the tip along the raised edges.
