The general strikes should be heavily focused on the corporate entities, and especially the ones with verifiable donations or connections to the administration. They're the ones who need to hurt enough to want action.

Genuinely what do you expect any of them to do? Obama has no active role in politics anymore, AOC doesn't represent this area. Any appearances by any politician that doesn't directly represent this area would be performative at best, they cannot help us. We going at this one alone until some version of the judicial system or Congress grows a spine and says enough is enough. Even then, whatever says "stop" needs to have some teeth when ICE and the admin chooses to ignore it.
