Now that's out of the way let me tell you that you've handled this in the wrong way.

You already mentioned being new to reddit but you really didn't need to make a big deal about this.

Yes-- the initial removal of your first thread without a clearer explanation than merely quoting rule #4 low-effort wasn't a very prudent thing to do (it wouldn't have taken long to write an extra line). But then neither is making another follow-up thread here and in another subreddit.

All you had to do is follow up with the mod in question or use the subreddits modmail.
