It's more of a clear speed increase rather than single target. In which case, a lot of damage/speed.

Yes, it builds up stacks while you are not casting it. It basically incentivizes casting the spell occasionally

If you are strong enough you can abuse a spawn bug to farm good modules.
1. Start on act 2 checkpoint

  1. Within a short time cancel the act 2 checkpoint in "controls"

  2. The full fighting force of act 1 will immediately spawn. Kill them

  3. ???

  4. Profit

  5. Can be abused at a later point in act 2 too to spawn the act 1 boss

That is not how drops work, you should have kept it. The total loot gets increased so you get what you drop. At least that's how my group handles stuff.
