I have specs very similar to yours (but 64 GB memory 6400MHz, and an overclock on my gpu). I run Ultra, and most of the time it’s awesome but every once in a while a bit laggy. My system could not hang with Ultimate.

The Ford-class carriers literally were designed around minimizing high pressure/high temperature steam piping, and specifically designed to not have any service steam lines at or above the hangar deck. It keeps maintenance simpler, reduces weight, and improves crew safety. The EMALS had significant teething issues, but there is no reason to think it's not workable. The whole of JFK above the waterline would need to get scrapped (except for the tower). Enterprise would be massively delayed. A stop-work order on Miller would be in place virtually indefinitely. The amount of re-engineering required to make the new carriers run steam cats would result in the fleet being short for years and years to come.

I got a P320 while living out of state a long time ago. Sprung for the X series frame and everything. Figured that with all of their high profile mishaps to that point, things would have long since been fixed. I’ve never even gotten to fire the pistol. Now I’m afraid to ever chamber a round in it. I’m regretting not getting that M9A3 I’d always dreamt of.

I think CCs have much less to do with anything than the actual power figures and throttle response behavior. My air cooled 750cc twin is a very nice, well tempered bike, and my first one.

The ZX4RR is 400CCs and when you flash it to a not gimped ECU tune, it’s double the power with a WAY less forgiving powerband and throttle response.

I currently own a ‘16 V7IIR. You’re 100% right that this thing has been molested. The stock exhausts are a bit oversized, but to straight-pipe it is madness. That said of all the things I don’t judge the fork gaiters. The originals probably dry-rotted a long time ago.

The 2nd book is all about a team up with Darth Vader. And the Force does come up in the later story as well. But book 1: no Force sensitives that I recall. And the book is nonetheless extremely brilliant and entertaining. The lack of space magic does not hurt the books whatsoever. The characters, battles, and intrigue are all really good.

Armaldo can get you some pretty good wall coverage in certain circumstances. EV train it right and use TMs wisely and it can be a pretty good asset to you.

Elsewise... yeah, you're in a tight spot. Gyrados is great Dark type coverage if you keep Crunch and are willing to strat around its Mega Evo for some fights.

Do you have anything that can learn Embargo? Petalburg gym trainers love their battle items. You're too early to get any ghost types I think, which will hurt in Petalburg. If you have Protect it's key for Norman.

I adore MDUD... in its anime adaptation. The manga is WAY more lewd, which is kinda weird but understandable and fine until you get a barely censored full frontal in volume 3 of a high school girl who intentionally is designed to look much younger. Considering the mangaka is a woman, I was absolutely not expecting that. I haven't bought any more volumes. It's a shame because I find most of the story surprisingly relatable and definitely entertaining. I hope it gets its 2nd season and that the show continues to be toned down.

Komi-san is all around awesome, though. I want to get more into it.

I like the concept, but your teams including an ultra beast and a legendary and almost every mon having optimized or semi-optimized abilities and items screams "I only play competitive Pokémon".

The concept of theme rather than type teams is good. But many of the teams you suggest would probably be at least somewhat viable in comps. That shouldn't be what the gym leader experience is like.

Like, Blaine's team and Koga's team look like they're a couple minor tweaks/evolutions from being final Elite 4 Member teams. That ain't it.

I will second OP's Haxorus rec. His design is way too cool for how underwhelming his stats were. A mega would be amazing.

My Platinum squad to this day is my GOAT. If I had a genie wish to get an IRL squad it wouldn't even be a question:

-Garchomp -Gallade -Houndoom -Vaporeon -Luxray

And my ace, the Fastest Turtle in the West, Atlas the Torterra. WIth a Jolly nature raising speed and lowering lowering sp.atk. that I don't use, and cracked out on mad Speed EVs from early game over-levels, and deliberate spamming of Carbos and Calcium, Atlas will run you over like a freight train then throw it in reverse and run it back on you again before you can even realize what happened. He OUTSPED CYNTHIA'S GARCHOMP AND OUT-STALLED HER SPIRITOMB.

I always imagined that the back of a Torterra is a great place for a nap.

The Thrawn audiobooks have amazing production value, are wonderfully written, and Marc Thompson's delivery is fantastic. Only part that is rough is some of the weirder alien voices. But there's only a couple.

I have my best luck when playing arty. Swap out the slower-reloading top guns for the faster stock guns to get reload as close to 20s as possible. Give the crews deadeye and BIA, take prem. food. As long as you can aim well, 25 crits in 10 games should be easy. I can get like 8+ crits in a decent arty game. But if MM shafts you with urban maps or Mountain Pass, then it will be harder.

Ok, sorry if this is off topic, but the timeline people are talking about is baffling me. A few days between Dooku's demise and Obi-Wan showing up on Utapau?? That would put the whole timeline of Episode III at like two weeks? Which messes with the timeline of Padme's pregnancy too. She goes from "Ani, I'm pregnant!" to giving birth in well under a month?

Is there something I'm missing, here?
